JDiag OBD2 WiFi Car Diagnostic Scanner Check Engine Light Code Reader CAN OBDII Scan Tool for iOS Android Device

This guy was super cheap so I got what I was asking for. Id had hopes this word work like some premium models but that's not the case. It plugs in and technically talks to the cars computer. However with no app of their own you are stuck trying to find a 3rd party that works with it. I tried many different ones on iOS and android, about 12 different apps and none simply hook to this. I bought two of them and they both acted the same way in two different cars, and 03 Lexus IS300 and a 06 VW Bug.In both cars it caused dash lights to remain on, the ABS light in the Lexus and break light in the bug? So no way did I want to leave it as a permanent accessory. I got one app to read the RPMs live but delayed. I got another app to see the engine code, but I could not clear it.I sadly say DO NOT BUY, if you are looking for live dash results and engine tracking pay the price and get a quality one that has its own software and if you want it just to see and clear codes, just swing by you local Autozone, its fast and free.

I have tried several times to try and pair this with my phone. It just does not work for me. I have a BAFX brand bluetooth scanner with identical shape that works perfect.

Total junk. Buyer beware. Bluetooth will not connect. Feels cheap as expected. Figured it woukd have at least connected. Tried Nexus 7, S5, S8, S9+, ipad, iphone. Unit has power. Tried in 2006 Civic, 2012 Tacoma, 2018 Armada, 2008 F150, 2016 Acura. Sas me results. Red light on but no connection. Save your money.

Wouldn’t connect. Take your car to autozone.

Simple to set up and use, and works like a charm, not only gave me access to all my trouble codes, but allows me to monitor performance, mileage, etc, very handy indeed, I've already used it in all 3 of my vehicles!! Saves so much time and money, even over taking your vehicle to a car parts store for a free scan (and especially handy when that's not an option), imho it pays for itself in it's first use!! I'd buy another in a heartbeat if this one ever goes south!I honestly can't say enough good things about these, they're so much better and so much cheaper than traditional stand alone OBDII diagnostic tools!!
