It’s been exactly one month since I bought this, and this has proven to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever gotten for my cat. It’s incredibly easy to program with an app that is phenomenal. It allows you to control not only when the meal starts but also when the meal ends. It also notifies you when it’s time to clean. Cleaning this feeder is very easy, and that’s coming from someone who isn’t a fan of cleaning. It’s just as easy if not easier than hand washing dishes. I have no complaints about this product, but one suggestion. A determined cat is able to fit their paw into the feeder to grab bits of another meal. My suggestion is find some way to prevent this. This is a fantastic product that I will be recommending to friends and family.

Short version: keeps food cold, app is easy to use and makes feeding time a bit more flexible, good customer services. I would recommend this for a pet in general but especally those learning to eat from an automatic feeder or having a set food schedule. Long version: I had just returned a different wet food feeder from another company because it wasn't getting cold enough to keep the food safe. I had to find a feeder I can trust for up coming times I can't be home. I also needed something that could help teach my 10 year old cat (who had never used an automatic feeder) to use it. I eventually found this one and am very happy with it. First (and most importantly) it stays cold. I can touch the machine and bowls and feel it; I even accidentally made an ice cube in it after a bit of paper towel got stuck to it while wiping condensation. Second the app is easy to use. It's pretty straightforward to set up feeding times. I really appreciate the "open now" button. My 10 yo cat is still learning to use it, but I can see through the app if she didn't eat and can open it up for her if I choose to. The bell is also a great signal for her (and she's starting to realize what it means) and I can ring it to try to call her or reinforce that it means food. Third, while I've not contacted them about any issues myself, this last week they were having multiple issues with connectivity (I noticed mine was offline too). They sent email updates while they were working on it, and the first one mentioned that if it is offline it shouldn't disrupt feedings, then after it was resolved they sent out changes they were making to resolve or reduce similar issues in the future, which I appreciated. My only minor complaint is that I wish the bowls were individual rather than stuck together, but the bowls/tray comes out and is still easy to clean. While my cat is still learning to use it, she using it FAR more than the one I returned, and I think we're both happy with this feeder.

This food splitter is a simple but very useful accessory if you have multiple pets sharing an automatic feeder. The stainless steel bowls feel durable and are easy to remove for cleaning, which is something I always appreciate with pet products. The splitter does a good job directing food into separate bowls, helping reduce crowding and making mealtime more organized. It's especially helpful for households with two cats or small dogs that eat from the same feeder. Installation was straightforward, and the overall quality feels solid. The stainless steel inserts are a nice upgrade over plastic since they're easier to clean and less likely to retain odors. One thing to keep in mind is that food distribution may not always be perfectly even depending on the kibble size and feeder setup, but that's fairly common with most splitters and hasn't been a major issue for me. Overall, this is a well-made accessory that makes feeding multiple pets much more convenient. If you already have a compatible PETLIBRO feeder, it's a worthwhile addition.

Excellent customer service is what my score is about. First, my feeder worked for two days, seemed great, food was kept cold, it set up with app easily. Then it stopped syncing. My internet was solid, I powered down the feeder and back on, still wouldn’t sync, after 20-30 minutes it lost power and then nothing. Sometimes these things happen, not mad when things like this do. It’s all about what is done about it. I did have to answer questions and then my refund was handled completely.

Over the past year, I’ve purchased 5 of these feeders because they all break after a few months. Has some glitches, but overall works great BEFORE it breaks. 1-3 months of usage and the cooling feature consistently breaks, and so it no longer keeps the food safe to eat. I keep buying this product because there are none others similar to this on the market and I need refrigeration instead of ice packs since I travel frequently. Additionally, the few times purchasing this item, the item i received was clearly from a different return. They didn’t even repackage it in a new box, they cut out the previous label and stuck a new one on and covered the whole box in tape. So I returned it and purchased a new one, and I had the EXACT SAME ISSUE. I kept it since I had no other option, but it broke a month later anyways. My most recent feeder broke when I was out of town, and I came back to my hungry cat who hadn’t eaten all day. I checked on the feeder and the entire machine just stopped turning on despite being plugged in. I’m on my 5th feeder now because the functionality of this feeder is great when it works: programming schedule, remote open, tracking for how long your pet eats, etc. It is unfortunate that max open time is 4 hours and there are often glitches with the system so it’s not reliable, but just reliable enough that it works. If they could work out the kinks in the system and make the product last longer than 1 month, would be a fantastic product. Currently, only works on short term basis

Super impressed with this feeder. Looks gorgeous in white and feels very well-made. I do raw feeding, so having built-in refrigeration is an absolute game changer. The stainless steel tray is seamless and super easy to clean. I also love that the feeder itself has some height to it, so I don’t need an extra riser, my cats can eat comfortably without bending their neck too low. During summer in our apartment, ants are always an issue, but because the lid stays closed until scheduled meal times, no more ants getting into the food. The app is also super handy for scheduling and checking the eating logs. The only "downside" is that I have three cats, so I definitely need to buy at least one more unit. Highly recommend!

I was nervous about this purchase, but it was totally worth it for us. We transitioned our car to all wet food because she literally never drinks. Ever. So we wanted to give her an extra meal during the day while we're at work. Took her a second to learn how to eat from it. I started by feeding her meals from here without it turned on first so she got used to it. Now she loves it and the little bell pavloved her so she runs to it when it's time to eat. Cleaning is a breeze. Can hand wash or dishwash. I prep her lunch in the morning after I feed her breakfast and wash at night so it's ready for the next day. Literally takes 1 extra minute. It tells me in the app how much she ate and I can "ding" her remotely if I want to cue her to eat more (and I have!) if I'm going to be home late or something (I only feed her lunch in this and hand prep the other 2 meals). Now for the "could be better": The food is cold and she doesn't like cold food. She much prefers her food warm. But the only other feeders on the market that warm have bad reviews saying they questioned safety, and I'm not about that. If they can figure out a warming feature some day, I'm there, but until then, this will do. I don't like that I can only set meals for 4 hours, but I do understand. Also, I don't subscribe to the app and have been satisfied with the features at baseline. I was nervous about this, but I am happy as of this review.

My cat and I love our Petlibro! It was an expensive purchase but the freedom it's given me is priceless. For my cat, it's a guarantee that kibble will fall into his dish on a regular basis (I swear he's learning to tell time!). For me, it's freedom from being the bad guy. It enabled me to transfer Hobson's association of my being in the kitchen equals food for him to the dispenser that sits quietly in the corner now equals food for Hobson. I can now come and go into the kitchen without him wailing at me (ok, well, most of the time). I did not purchase the wi-fi version. At the time I thought why in the heck would I want to access his feeder over wi-fi. I regret that decision. There have been times when I'm out for the day and realize I won't be back in time to give Hobson his wet food dinner, and wished that I could access his feeder over wi-fi and change the time that it would dispense the next kibble run to be at an earlier hour. Live and learn. PROS: -- big container holds lots of cat kibble (and includes a tray in the lid which holds desiccants to help keep the kibble dry and mold free) -- timed release (up to 4x in a 24 hour period) -- ability to pick how many multiples of kibble should be dispensed each release time (for a cat, with dispensation 4x a day, I've never had the machine delivery more than 2 or 3 batches of kibble at once) -- easy to clean -- I like the removable stainless steel dish (so I can easily clean that on a daily basis) -- well made product CONS: -- kibble size limitation (for most cat kibble, this would never be an issue, but Hobson gets dental kibble which by definition are big kibble nuggets--thankfully Purina DH kibble does fit) -- The digital clock isn't accurate, it's slow, losing 2-3 minutes every 4 months -- Maximum of 4 dispensing times during a 24 hour period. I wish this were 6x. Quick hack: Before we moved Hobson to dental kibble, his smaller regular cat kibble would sometimes not clear the dispensing shoot and get stuck on a plastic seam. Easiest thing in the world to fix that was to place a little yellow post-it stickie over the plastic seam and extending into the bowl. This ensured 100% of the dispensed kibble always fell into the bowl. That said, the yellow stickie was not going to prevent Hobson from sticking his paw up into the machine to jimmy loose some additional kibble. (I've seen some posts of people rigging a long shoot between the mouth of the dispenser and the kibble bowl as a means to combat the paw poke. I didn't want one more thing to have to clean.)

Got the version with the metal liner in the dish. Very easy to clean and makes a great rattle when the food drops down the chute and hits it. Thanks to this new bit of kit, Ghost gets fed 4 times per day (8 am, 12, 4, 8 pm) instead of twice and the feeding times are consistent. She took to it immediately, and based on other reviews, I didn't set up a voice recording initially and the sound of the food hitting the dish is all the alarm she needs to know it's chow time so I won't be adding that. The video I took was from day 3 but a few weeks in neither the parents nor the kids are yet tired of seeing her explode out her shoe box on the kitchen table from a dead sleep a millisecond after the first piece of food hits the dish. We bought this as one part of an attempt to address accidents she was having that were thought to be related to stress. More smaller meals and consistent feeding times were one piece. This was one of many pieces and the reviews I read were good, the price seemed reasonable and it has a nice aestetic so I thought it might be a good addition. We are very happy with the product, and the accidents have disappeared, but it can't be tied directly to this product alone because of the number of changes we made and unmade at the same time. I can however safely say that it has not created any problems, and we are very close to feeling confident enough to replace the couch and two chairs we lost to her accidents, and reintroduceing the coffee table I had to refinish and the area rug we have to get cleaned. We've been living with an empty living room for 2 months. In the video she starts in that room, and there remains only some bookcases, end tables and a lamp. 🙂 Some additional usability features would be great such as a display that doesn't require you to lie on the floor to reprogram but the system is a bit of a 'set and forget' after the initial tweaks. So I can forgive. Great attractive product. ❤️

Hace un mes aproximadamente compre la máquina que se debe programar manualmente. Tengo 2 cachorros y por lo tanto encargué 2 máquinas, primero la normal y después la que tiene Wifi, Ayer me llego la maquina con wifi, duro un poco más en llegar que la máquina normal. Haciendo una comparación entre ambas, la verdad es que las 2 cumplen muy bien con su función , que es, alimentar a mis mascotas sin problema, sin embargo, a la hora de programar los horarios de las comidas, si es más fácil hacerlo en la máquina con Wifi, pero créeme, cualquiera de las 2 cumple con la función, así que si no te es posible comprar la de Wifi, compra la normal, no te decepcionará. Dentro de la caja viene una tarjeta de regalo por 20 dólares, pero estos te los dan en moneda canadiense, en mi caso, soy mexicano, por lo tanto no me funcionaba que estuviera en esa moneda, sin embargo, por medio del correo electrónico que te proporcionan en la misma tarjeta, me brindaron ayuda con la tarjeta de regalo y me la cambiaron por dólares estadounidenses, con los cuales si pude comprar cosas. Just got a kitten, making the cat family count 2 and was really happy when I checked and saw I didn’t have to buy another cat feeder. The bowls do their jobs, the build is quite sturdy and the shape of the bowl is actually much nicer and easier to clean than the one that comes originally. The setup is quite easy but I do agree with the reviews that divider isn’t that precise, but to be honest, after a full day of releasing food I don’t think it makes any difference.

A little bit expensive but it does the job.
