Sun and Water Shield, Repels Water, 10.5 Fluid Ounces (2 Cans)

This Scotchgard Sun and Water Shield works great on my patio furniture. It repels water effectively and helps protect against the elements. There’s no residue or discoloration after applying, and it sprays evenly without foaming. The finish looks clean and natural, which I really like. Overall, a high-quality product that’s easy to use and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would definitely recommend it.

Using this to protect my porch goose’s outfits. Hoping it’s effective though so I don’t have to buy outfits a lot. Sprays on clear and dries clear. Didn’t notice any color change in the materials.

Good product, does what it’s supposed to, only doesn’t get 5 stars because it didn’t cover as much as advertised; maybe I applied it too liberally. Anyway, works great.

Used this on my artificial door wreath and flowers I have on my front porch and after 3 months, haven't noticed any wear, tear, or yellowing. When it rains, it just beads up on the flower petals, so it's not sinking into the false fabric. I love this stuff and have sprayed it on my grill, spa covers etc.

Purchased this Scotchgard Sun and Water Shield to spray on new patio cushions. Was easy as heck to apply and seems to have covered well....no streaks as it quickly dried. We've not yet had rain, but I feel sure that, as it's a Scotchgard product, it will work as described. A plus is that the scent was not obnoxious!

I’m bummed. I bought this to use on my mostly white canvas golf bag and leather and pleather headcovers. I’m giving a few starts because it seemed to work well in the pleather items, and to some the degree the leather ones, but when I used it my smaller ‘Sunday Bag’ bag it caused an immediate yellowing on the white part. Fortunately, I had read the instructions first and it said that if this happens to immediately ‘scrub at it’ with rubbing alcohol. (They said wipe, but it took some serious scrubbing and very liberal application of, and repeated drenching of 90 proof rubbing alcohol to get the yellow part back to ‘almost-normal’). I’m making peace with it because I’m VERY glad that I tried it on the smaller bag before my big bag. (The almost all white one). I’m also trying to console my disappointment in the expensive by reminding myself that if I ever where to ‘drop mud’ on any of the covers that the application of this would probably protect them. However, all in all I wish I had just spot wiped/washed things as I may have needed because my experience with this was not what I had hoped. Again, I’m glad that they had instructions on the bottle for what to do if the yellow did happen, but I would have preferred to have realized that it was a possibility before I bought it.

I Put two coats on my sofa and when I tested it, the water easily penetrated.. Very disappointing. Also toxic to spray on. Be careful if you buy it

Excellent product, we use the umbrella a lot and it allows for a waterproof quality that other products don’t do

Not recommended with kids in the house. After i spray this in the sofa my daughter got a full full body and face rashes. And the smell is like a gas
