Suitable for mince pies
I was looking for a baking pan for making traditional UK style Christmas mince pies and this one is fine. Some pans are too deep/wide and more suited to muffins. It seems good quality and not flimsy.

Perfect for mince pies and butter tarts
These are shallower than muffin tins and this allows ease in removing the tarts.

REALLY Shallow!
Holes are VERY shallow. I was reluctant to give a low review because it is not the fault of the manufacturer/seller and so many people found it perfect for their mince pies, which is why I bought it, but you would literally have one bite of pie with these! I am going to keep it to make jam tarts for my daughter's tea parties with her dollies. The pan itself is lovely and heavy with a nice non-stick finish, I think it will work marvellously! Edit: I just made mince pies in it and it is just fine! I made them open face with a little star cutout on top and they are smaller than I usually make, but lovely!

was nice and heavy/sturdy and had worked beautifully for me
Wanted a 12 hole tin for making Yorkshire puddings as an American muffin tin doesn't work well for me. This came quickly, was nice and heavy/sturdy and had worked beautifully for me. I think it will be perfect for jam tarts too.

Perfect for small pies
I ordered this product based on other positive reviews. When it arrived, I was afraid that the pies would be too small - but they're exactly right! I made mince pies as well as lemon curd tarts, and they turned out beautifully - lifted right out of the tin. Couldn't be more pleased!

More shallow than ideal
After making mince pies in Ireland I bought this pan to make them in the US. To get any filling in the pies, you have to push the dough up over the top of the pan a bit. I wish for a deeper pan like maybe 3/16" deeper. The pan is good quality though.

Good and quality
Sturdy and good weight. They hold enough filling for 1 serving. Again, no waste. Pan is non-stick but I spay it depending on the recipe being used. It was delivered on time and very quickly! Love Amazon Prime!

Perfect for Making Mince Pies and (British) Cupcakes!
I ordered two sets of these tins as a Christmas gift for my husband, who is British. He has been struggling to make mince pies with American muffin tins, which he says are too deep. His mother has the same problem making yorkshire pudding when she comes to visit. I found these tins online and read a ton of reviews from other British folks in the United States, and these seemed to be just what I was after (even though the official title of the product doesn't mention mince pies). When I got them, there is a label around them that indicates the tins are for making buns, cupcakes and mince pies, so I made the right call. And the manufacturing information shows the company is in Birmingham, UK. Double bonus! He was so surprised when he opened the gift, and said these are just like the ones his mother has, so he is looking forward to making a new batch of mince pies the right way. I didn't realize British cupcakes are shallower than ours as well, so he's excited to try making his style of cupcakes too. I, on the other hand, am looking forward to his mother using them for yorkshire pudding when his parents come to visit this year! Yum!
