Excellent value
This item is 1/3 the cost of others. It is sturdy and does the job. Good Value for money is there. The only thing I found was that you need to paint all the weld joints before you attach it to your truck otherwise they will rust. That is a small thing to do when you save over $200 from other brands.

"If the women don't find you handsome, at least they'll find you handy"
Was pretty difficult to install on my 04 chevy. One of the backer plates would not fit in the stake pocket so I had to cut off about ΒΌ". Its also tricky to hold the nuts and bolts as you can't fit enough fingers in the side access holes. Use some tape and have a variety of wrench sizes and pliers and it's doable. All of this could have been simpler if the manufacturer would have just welded the nut to the backer plate (I didn't want to drag out my welder for that small project as I keep it boxed up). It is good and solid and will protect the rear window from firewood, and I may attach some tool brackets too. There are better looking racks out there but for this cheap of a price it does just as good of a job as the more expensive ones.

"Just...Do It!"
Ok, listen. It was my fault for not securing my dirtbike onto the truckbed, properly. Which led to the handlebars running through the backglass. So, I thought never again. That is a $700 fix. $700! I knew that a headache rack would be a better alternative for preventative measures. Other racks were at least $200 but didn't cover every gap and I also thought, "what if i buy an expensive one and the handlebars still find a way through the rack openings?"That's when I came across MAXXHAUL. The best thing I've ever installed on my truck. My RAM 1500 looks like Zeus and Hephaestus collaborated together to build a work truck! I actually look like I drive with a purpose, now! I'd put a lift on my truck to add a little "razzle dazzle" but I guess lifts now symbolize that your manhood is tiny..(me? far from true) but anyways..Some pros:-Truck looks beefier-Major cop deterrent-Lightweight and Sturdy-Overall Backglass ProctectionSome Cons:-That I didnt buy this sooner!-Rusts pretty quick but uh..just spraypaint it with a clearcoat like I did.

Solid starter rack although frustrating install.
Delivered earlier than expect with beat up packaging. Nothing damaged since it is steel. The rack seems solid for it's price though on the inside of one the sides where metal arms are inserted there was a random chunk of steel still welded in place blocking function- chiselled off with a hammer and was fine.Instalation guide was essentially one page of generalized install instructions. After figuring out what they meant It took 2 and a half hours to fasten. Install required four 3" x 3/8" bolts and large washers which I had to pick up from hardware store.. had to grind two of the bolts down to an inch and a half length in order to make them fit. If you have issues fitting fingers thru side pockets or holding onto nuts (phrasing) I would recommend duct taping nut and washer to locking plate and using a balled up rag between plate and fingers to make up for extra space.Final product looks good and fit my 2500hd just barely. Could feel more sturdy but I'm content for the price. I'd recommend to crafty individuals willing to take extra time to fasten in order to save money.

Works great! Looks great!
I liked this product a lot. It looks nice on my truck and fits perfect with my toolbox. I needed something so people couldn't get in my cab through the sliding window, and this works great! I read the reviews and saw that it started rusting on people a little while after they bought it. So I went to the store and bought some outdoor paint and put a few coats on it. Had it for at least a month now and still no rust! Great for the price! Just a little paint and it works great. It was bent in the corners due to shipping but I just unbent and painted and installed. I feel like it will outlast the truck if I'm being honest lol

works but...
This fitted well on my 2001 F150 SuperCrew 4Dr. Width was perfect. Unfortunately I needed to drill holes. I am a little wary on the stability and strength of the attachment to the bed rail. The bed metal is rather thin so I would not recommend you use the headache rack to ties stuff to. It cannot possibly bend backwards at the attachemengt point to the bed rail. This is not a criticism of the Head Ache Rack but the thin material of the bed rail. I recommend welding on a support bracket/brace to maybe the cab of the truck for extra support.

Poorly Manufactured
Worst experience. Product arrived defective! Horrible welding job on the wire grid mesh (see photo of grid towards bottom middle of photo.). Top cap on one of the posts arrived damaged and rendered the unit no longer waterproof. See photo comparing a good cap verse the sunken-in broken cap and the photo with the broken pieces. Package was not protected. It looks poorly made. Frankly I am shocked that weld passed product quality control. Look elsewhere. Trust me. It's a waste of my time to even consider packing this up to return. I miss my trusting brick and mortor businesses these daysFollow-up: Reached out to the US representative for the manufacturer and asked for a replacement end-cap. Received an answer back the same day. I will let you know the progress of the replacement when/if I get it. Fingers crossed.

Amazing price, works as it should!
I installed this rack on my 2009 Silverado longbox. It has been super helpful for carrying long materials, along with my trailer.Very simple to install. It has two bolts that are recommended to drill out, I found it was quite secure without needing the extra bolts.
