how thin is this? if i made it a skirt would people be able to see my underwear through it?

I bought the grey poplin and we're making my fiancé and grandson tuxedos out of it. It's pretty heavy, and we're lining the tuxes for comfort, but you should be fine with a skirt. I can't imagine that it would show through.
