Little smaller then expected
Little small. Otherwise they look good. Should work great for my daughter intil she grows out of them.

Order normal shoe size
I read lots of reviews saying to order a whole or 1.5 sizes bigger than shoe size, but that was not the case at all and I ended up with a shoe that was too big. I would go with usual size.

True to street size
If you purchase your child's street shoe size just a little bit bigger to allow room for growth and they still have room to grow into them, order Street shoe size. If your child is ready to size up, go a half size up from their current size. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller based on some reviews and ended up returning for my child's current street shoe size. Current street shoe size: toddler size 9 cat and jack brand slip on sneakers.

Cuando los vรญ, mi impresiรณn fue que no le iban a quedar, y cuando se los puse, le quedan perfectos, cabe mencionar que es la talla de zapatos que le compro. Asรญ que estoy satisfecha. ๐

Runs one size too small
Received these yesterday. They are one size too small for my child's foot, or at least I think they're only one size too small. We could not even put her foot in it. She has a very narrow foot, and these were also too narrow for her foot. As for quality, they seem fairly good quality. There were some glue marks along the inside top of the shoes. The laces seem extremely long.

True to size!!
Due to reviews....I ordered a size up for my 5 year old daughter. She has just started wearing a size 10, we ordered an 11M. Sizing up was Not the right decision. The width was fine- she has a pretty typical "medium" width foot now that she is older & these were fine in that regard, if not a little loose. However, they were Definitely at least a sz too large for her. Much too long.My advice: order their current size OR order a couple pairs in different sizes if you are concerned & return what doesn't workAs a former dancer (& a daughter of such as well), I do know how these should fit her feet.If she were older, she should not have extra space in the shoe. Since she is still growing, a little space is okay, if not preferred. However, it's obvious that ordering a size up in these leaves them much too long & will cause her to trip, etc.I should have followed Capezio's own sizing guidelines, rather than the reviews here, as they list these as being true to size. They are correct in our experience.Ordering her current street shoe size will still leave a bit of room at the end of the toes for growth, but will not be so long they are hazardous. The quality of these ballet slippers is excellent. Granted, I've always been a bit partial to Capezio.. This Daisy style is a little less flat than the classic Teknik's, if you are familiar with those. I think this Daisy style is excellent for little girls like mine whose feet are a little thicker up and down (if that makes since- not width, but actual thickness) than some. I may even order a pair for myself. The pink is classic & beautiful. The lining is cute & feels comfortable. The name tag inside is a great touch, though I am a little concerned as to whether or not they will cause a little irritation upon dancing. I will update if they Do. The edging does not rub her heel/ankle when cinched. The full sole is just as expected and nice. The leather is soft but durable & not too thin nor too thick. These really are quite lovely! These are a great buy & I do not forsee any problems with these in her correct size. However, Do order in their current street shoe size first...

These are great but runs too small
Read the reviews given here and I still went wrong. I measured my daughter's feet with a tape measurer, and her feet are at 5 1/2 inches. According to the sizing chart given by Amazon, that puts her shoe size at street size 7. Some of the reviews here mentioned that these shoes are comparable to street sizes and is a true fit. I went with those reviews and ordered a size 7 and it was too small. However it seems like it almost fit, just needs to be a bit bigger, so I decided to go only half size up and ordered a 7 1/2. It was still too small!I have Amazon Prime and I am so glad at this point that I do because both returns were free and both shoes arrived within 2 days. However, by the time the 7 1/2 shoes arrived my daughter's dance class was going to start the next day. We ran out of time. So I just ended up going to Payless and put the guess work behind. Turns out she fits a size 8. So take my advice and go ONE whole size bigger. In the end it is better for the shoes to be slightly big in which your child can still grow into it than the shoes being too small that she can't even wear it. However like some other reviews here mentioned, if this is your first time buying ballet slippers for your little girl, just go to a shoe store and find out what size will fit her first. Take the guess work out.4 stars for the shoes. These shoes are actually cheaper than Payless at the time I'm shopping them. Quality seems about the same although I would say the leather on the Capezio are a bit more supple. I would buy again when my little girl outgrows her current one.

Good ballet shoes
I bought this model because is the one used in my daughter's ballet school. Is a very nice shoe, with a pretty daisy fabric in the inside and good pre-sewed elastic. We love the inside tag to put the name also. My girl has normal feet but for a good fit we bought the N (narrow) model, the M (medium) is a little too large. The shoe size is accurate to normal.

Elastic tie makes them easy to get on
Always need to buy a size bigger with ballet shoes. Love these because they come in a narrow fit option and the tie/string is elastic so really easy to get on and off. Highly recommend.

soft leather child's ballet shoe
Lovely soft leather ballet shoe with elastic suitably attached. Very attractive for a young child starting ballet. Would probably need to buy one to one and a half sizes.

V Good quality!
Quality of the leather is good and with the additional strings they can be adjusted to fit the feet snugly. Overall very good shoe.
