Way better than my metal infuser. Tea was always falling out of that one, but this loses no tea leaves after you seal it. Plus easy to clean and cute to have a little friend on your cup while you wait for your tea to steep. Will probably get a couple more for other members of my family (we drink a lot of tea). :)

If you are a hard core tea drinker who is very particular about the brewing of their tea, this product is not for you, it might cause rage.As an infuser, this is meh. I find the holes too small and widely set to get good water movement through. As a result it takes a long time to infuse to a decent strength tea and I am not confident I got good extraction from the tea not immediately on the outer edge of the infuser. Because of the duration it took to infuse, my tea was colder than it should have been and had some flavor notes indicating over steeping (probably from the tea closest to the surface). On the plus side, even my relatively fine tea did not escape, which was nice. It is cute, that is its real purpose in life.Fits a wide variety of mugs from plain straight thin walled coffee cups to, thicker rimmed mugs, and even glass double walls. Looks best in a clear glass to watch the infusing and generally be cute.As a note, please do not cram a tea bag in the infuser or worse rip a tea bag open and put the contents in the infuser, it just doesn't turn out well and makes a bad cup.

I recently traveled to Taiwan. and I bought some good oolong tea from there. so I needed infuser to enjoy it. the smiling koala is sooo cute and also works very well as a tea infuser. I LOVE MY LITTLE TEA FRIEND:))))

Got this for a White Elephant party back in December; wasn't show how well it'd go over since everyone else brought gifts that seemed pretty fancy, but nearly half the party was gunning for this until it ran out of trades! From what I've heard it's held up well over the past few months (be sure to hand-wash it, though).

This product is super adorable and durable. However, cleaning it is a nightmare 😂. So if you don’t want to spend 10-15 minutes picking out all the tea leaves when you’re done it’s not worth it!

So cute. My grandson loved it. He’s into brewing his own tea and his grandmother (me) collects pigs. So a hit all around.

2024, still using this thing a lot, love it still. It doesn't break down, doesn't discolor with use. The kitten still looks absolutely adorable hanging in there:)
