Van Vliet Flat Salt Liquorice 1 Kg

Oh my goodness. I have been looking for salted liquorice for years and for some reason I did a search on Amazon and to be honest, I was not expecting to find it. I love, love, love, salted liquorice. I much prefer it to the usual liquorice. I will definitely be ordering more and on a regular basis.

Brought up in the Netherlands I do miss my licorice so I was pleasantly surprised I was able to order these ‘Krijtjes Drop’ 😋

I wish these came in smaller bags as they are soooooooo moreish the temptation to devour a whole bag is difficult to resist.

The best value drop I could find. The single salt (flat salt) is 7.5%, for me it is medium strength. Flavour was decent. I dropped a star for the texture, didn't like the way it just breaks up in the mouth, almost grainy. Would buy again though!

Couldn’t wait for these to arrive but was nervous that they wouldn’t be as good as the ones I used to buy in Holland.No need for the worry though They are the genuine article and while £15 seems a lot for a bag of sweets it is only £1.50 per 100gm which is actually really good value delivered to the door.

No, absolutely not for me. I cannot give it zero stars as Amazon won't let me. I opened the bag with a 2018 best before date, and thought I had just opened a bag of coal. The taste was akin to licking the M25 on a hot day after a thunderstorm, followed by an intensive period of cold, where every salt gritting truck in the U.K. had been asked to dump it's load. There was no taste of licquorice whatsoever. The one piece I tried, I spat out, and the rest of the 1 kg bag went straight in the bin. Horrible. My fault for thinking that the lovely ZOUT salt licquorice could be bettered with extra salt. Sticking with what I like, Never ever going down this road again. If I have missed something about this product I would be happy to hear about it, but really...........................NO. Awful............................I am too ashamed of myself for trying this to even consider returning to the vendor. Hopefully the binmen will take it away.

Saltier than King Neptune's codpiece. And with an ammonia aroma that makes your head flip back about THIS far. If that sounds yummy to you, then please buy all of these, and save the rest of us from the trauma of eating them.

As a dutch person who grew up on schoolkrijt these are nostalgic, bought it about 9 times since i found em, they use molasses and arabic gum instead of gelatine too, im allergic to pig products (gelatine and meat consumption) so thats a plus too, they are technically halal too i guess, only reason for value for money is 4 star is the £6 increase from last time i bought about 2-3 weeks ago

What is pictured is flat diamond shaped and is a softer liquorice. What I received was diamond shaped but much thicker and hard liquorice. Very disappointing. The only reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1 is because the taste is still good. It just not what I was expecting.

Schön Scharf und nicht zu hart sowie auch nicht zu weich. Sehr zu empfehlen!! Ähnlich zu den Holländischen..

Bei diesem Produkt stimmt alles Geschmack ist sehr gut deswegen kaufe ich es immer wieder
