My baby wears a size 3 diaper and the 12 month works perfect. I also have an 18 month that’s a little big so maybe you would want the 18 month size.

These would not work for potty training as they are not absorbent.

Q: Can you dispose of poop and reuse or need to put a new one on each time it is soiled?

You can dispose of poop but you’ll need to wash it before you can reuse it. The thing I like about this item is the ease with putting it on and taking it off after swimming.
