Never got them to grow because I couldn't be sterile enough but it was worth a shot

Bag came fully colonized and air exchange bag looked great. I would recommend buying the soy wax from the same company. Logs are plugged and waiting for fall.

I ordered two bags of plugs. One was completely white upon delivery and not usable, but the other bag was perfect and we had lots of fun getting them in the logs. I liked the paper insert that came with them; very informative with great tips for success. Would have been 5 stars if the other bag had been usable.

First I bought Shitaki. Those didn't grow at all. Two years later, I bought again. Tried to use it to spawn sterilized grain in a climate controlled greenhouse. Nothing. Lastly, I tried this one - the oyster mushroom. This is by far the easiest mushroom to grow. In my case, though, nothing yet again. You're basically paying for a bag of wooden dowels with a little grain spawn thrown in. Oh, and the grain they use wasn't sterilized. The grain seeds were the only thing I could get to grow. Wasted over $50 on 3 failed orders.

These mushrooms were extremely easy to grow. I purchased dowels for multiple projects. Grain spawn bags, sawdust blocks, 5 gallon buckets, hay bale, even logs. So far I've had good growth in both my grain bags and sawdust blocks, and the 5 gallon buckets full of straw produced 2 flushes after 2 months! 1 bucket I added dowels as I put straw in, and 1 bucket I filled with straw and pushed the dowels in through some of the holes I drilled. Definitely a fun easy mushroom to grow with a variety of ways you can grow/inoculate with dowels.

Nothing come alive yet its been a few months (4).

Packaging and instructions were great. Can’t wait to get some shrooooms!
