As with best cooking practices, be sure that you use a proper amount of oil, butter, or non-stick cooking spray to ensure your food does not stick or burn your griddle.&Nbsp; cleaning: when you are finished cooking, scrape off all the food residue and scraps from your griddle and wipe the griddle clean with a damp rag. Wear protective gloves, as the griddle will still be hot.
