I got ear piercings two months ago and got hoop earrings placed. My piercings had gotten infected and even after the infection went away, the piercings were still itchy from time to time. I remember reading that you should get studs placed after ear piercings because hoops don't guarantee the piercing site will stay sterile. After two months, I swapped out my hoops with these studs and they have felt great so far. I don't notice any itching or redness like before and I'm looking forward to my piercings healing normally. Then I'll put my earrings back in!tldr; great retainers, great value. super comfortable, I don't notice them. They're more comfortable than small hoop earrings during sleep. So far its durable and I wear them 24/7 bc my piercing hasn't healed fully yet.

This product saved me. On new year’s eve, i decided i’ll have a new years resolution to finally pierce my ears but i wasn’t thinking about how piercings weren’t allowed at school. So during the frantic week of me trying to come up with something, i bought these. I know everyone says you shouldn’t take out new piercings for the first 6 weeks but i did it anyways because i had no other choice. I only advice using these for that purpose if you understand the risks. I can freely change earrings after 6 weeks now and i currently still wear these to school with 0 suspicion. (I used rubbing alcohol to disinfect and while leaving my piercing earrings our for maybe 15 seconds, the hole started shrinking)

I am not permitted to wear jewelry, at work, so my ear holes tend to grow closed (they've been pierced for years, but never stay open) and then they get irritated when I do wear earrings. Sometimes, if I'm planning to wear earrings on the upcoming weekend, I'll wear these a day or two in advanced, to reopen the holes with less irritation. Since they are clear, no one (boss, coworkers) notices. I do lose the back pieces a lot though. Mostly in the shower, or when removing my motorcycle helmet. I will order more.

I was having a lot of problems with a recent ear piercing. The doctor even suggested that I just let them grow shut and then start over with fresh piercings. I didn't want to do that and thought I should maybe try a non-metal stud that hopefully my ears would not object to. Success! These are great and the package includes a few studs with colored crystals that actually have become favorites.

Went to a piercing shop that allowed me to bring in my own jewlery. I had my ear lobe needle pierced and this retainer put in. No problems thus far and nobody at work has noticed yet! I have been wearing it for about 1 week now, and the back hasn't worn out or fallen off yet. Even if it does wear out, you get so many in this package. Great product for the price.

These came in quick but are tapered and caused quite a lot of discomfort when putting in.The worst part was it got embedded into my ears.I put them in the morning of work and decided to leave them in the rest of the week (rather than switching them in and out and making the new piercings worse) that night I felt fine with my ears feeling a little tender. A couple hours into sleeping I woke up with one side of my ear really hurting. I went to touch the earrings and couldn't really feel them but knew they were in from the backside. I went to check them in the bathroom and saw all my piercings on one side were bleeding and one of them was embedded into my skin. It was very uncomfortable.

I liked that it will hold the space of a piercing. However I would have like them better if the plastic was a little smoother in texture. I found them abrasive and to be an irritant tomy sensitive piercing holes.
