NEWDERY Moto G6 Battery Case, 4000mAh Moto G6 Slim Extended Charger Case with TPU Raised Bezels, Rechargeable Charging Case Cover Compatible for Motorola Moto G6th Generation (5.7"-Black)

My Moto G6 phone slid right into the Newdery battery case. The battery recharged the phone as promised, no problem. Unfortunately, the battery case USB charging connection is not compatible with the Android Auto USB connection in my 2018 Kia Soul. When my Moto G6 is directly connected to the Kia, Android Auto works fine.Also, it should be noted that I purchased this battery system to allow me to use my Moto G6 as my primary photographic tool. To that end, I use a Xenvo Pro Lens Kit with my Moto G6. Unfortunately, the Xenvo Pro Lens Kit cannot be attached to the Moto G6 with the Newdery battery case installed. Sad.

I've been using this case for about a week on my Moto G6 and so far it seems pretty good.Pros:Holds a pretty good charge and seems to charge the phone about as fast as plugging it in does.The case does a good job of passing along the button presses to the power and volume buttons. They still feel natural.The cutouts for camera, headphones, etc. and well placed and accurate.The feature where you don't have to remove the phone from the case to charge either of them works well.There's a nice patterned design on the back of the case that "shifts" as the light hits it without being too gaudy. This is subjective, of course, but I like it.Cons:It does nearly double the size and weight of the phone, but that's probably to be expected.The leds that show the current battery capacity and that the case is charging the phone are very bright. This is probably only an issue if you're using the phone in the dark.Although I haven't tried any drop tests or anything, I feel like this case wouldn't protect as well as a case that was only for protection. It doesn't seem bad for protection, just not as good.Overall, I'd probably recommend this case for anyone who needs extra battery life. It's much more convenient than carrying around a battery pack and cable.

I just received the product. It would be unfair for me to state any thing about this product. Additionally, I am technically ignorant and, thus I am certainly not the proper individual to rate any of its technical features. But be sure that, if I do encounter a problem, you will be the first one to know. I rated three stars on the , overall rating, battery life and durability because I could not skip those items and submit them without a rating. Something for you to think about for future purchasers!!!!!!

Update #3 - Excellent customer service with my free warranty replacement (option for a refund, thank you !!) - once processed, promptly Amazon shipped a new unit, free. Everything working again - be careful when removing the G6 from the case if & when you need to make a data connection (it does not pass thru) but even the best stock Lightening connector get loosen over time. Tip for other users, please contact seller online via official link for help & top notch customer service, things do happen & break but Newdery STAND behind what they sell and still here 9 months later for after sales help & warranty. Thanks again & sincerely appreciated.Update #2 - at about the 8.5 months mark, the battery case began to show its weakness link, the USB-C connector in this case, where an USB-C charging cable make the connection, began to loosen and 2 weeks later, it is no longer able to work with the stock Moto Fast Charger regardless of whether stock, premium or deluxe USB-C cable was attempting to connect to charge up the smartphone. Contacted customer service as it is warrantied for 12 months.This is for our Moto G6/Project Fi edition and while OEM battery life is fine at 6 months, I wanted extra reserved capacity integrated into a case and like the ones for the other "A" product I own - this one works out of the box, partially charged & came with installation & tech/sales support are offered. It is only slightly thicker than my other bumper case w. clip-stand, shown side-by-side, and slightly taller, hardly noticeable. Feel solid in my big hand as it is heavier but no problem when used in a vehicle using vent/clip mounted vertically. USB charging port is well designed & quick/turbo charging continued to work, depending on what I am using. Even with heavy use & 3+ hours SOT, I feel confident about not running low on battery life; as, with a quick button press, start recharging while I continue to use it ... ideal when traveling with limited access to other power source.Postcript - A month later, I am just as happy about this. Plan to use Android Auto, however - the USB connection via this battery case will NOT activate in-car dash functions, bluetooth & phone features will work but not Google Maps or Waze for navigation, it won't project or "cast" onto the bigger 7" center console screen. Not a problem driving in-town, but for longer/out-of-town trip, I will probably switch back to the regular/slim case as before, as the battery will remain fully recharged.

It fits the phone great and has a good feel. At first purchase , would charge up all 4 lights to 100%. It did that either on the phone or charged up separated from the phone. I have two exact factory motorola chargers so , which i can alternate to charge up. After 3 months the lights still charge up to 100% , all 4 lights . However ,now when you turn it on to charge up the phone , it only charges to 25% when before it would charge up to about 90%. I Have requested a replacement under the 12 month warranty replacement plan. I answered the questions, sent a picture of my battery. After about 6-7 communications , i provided my address that they requested to send me a replacement. I have not heard back whether or not they now have all they need to send me a warranty replacement. Time will tell. Again, i wish it would have continued to work as it did when new. Purchasing a 3 month battery was a waste of time. You might consider some other option this using this unless they use better batteries going forward.

Ok but not long lasting before battery pack stops taking a charge

It worked for about a day and then wouldnt fully charge when plugged in and it wouldn't charge my phone. I forgot that Amazon had a returns policy so put it in. A draw and forgot about it

It s not charging my device more than 20% i think it s a factory mistake...

After charging the battery fully I'm not even getting one full charge onto my phone from it.
