Cokin P249 A/P Adapter

If like me, you have lots of Cokin A filters and need to use them in a P filter holder, then get this. Saves duplication of filters, and some of those I own aren't available in P format.Just beware of Vignetting when using some wide-angle lenses. But you knew that anyway, didn't you.

I works ok on normal Cokin filters but a little tight for the rotating ones, such as the polarising filters

This item seems to have risen in price but whatever way, for those that have both 'P' and 'A' filters it can save a lot of messing around particularly if you have two 'P' Filter holders as you can leave the adapter permanently fitted to one.

Fits well inside the P type holder and allows A type filters to be used on the P type holder without having to swap holders. Build quality seems as good as the P type. Due to the smaller size I have found that there can be some quite significant vignetting at longer focal lengths but this is to be expected with a smaller filter size.

I hadn't used my old Cokin A filters since I sold my 35mm film camera years ago. Having gone digital I found my filters in a drawer. I can now play with the effects and correction filters on my larger diameter lenses.

This is just what I was looking for and now allows me to use my older Cokin filters instead of throwing them away for pennies and saves the expense of rebuying some of them in the bigger size.

A genuine piece of kit, well packaged. It fits my 3rd party Cokin P type holder perfectly. Price reasonable. Delivery excellent.It is what it is.

Never used it yet but is strongly built as I'd expect from cokin.
