Swimmer Girl Suzi's Story: Winning Strokes (Go! Go! Sports Girls) Paperback – June 23, 2014

I have bought several books in this series, and have loved them all. Anyone who knows two of my granddaughters would think Swimmer Girl was written about them. They haven't competed against each other yet, but up to that point, the story mirrors their experiences on the community swim team. They love that book, as well as the gymnastics book. My third granddaughter has also loved the gymnastics, dance and soccer books. Each story has been very relatable for the girls, making them especially fun to read. The author clearly not only knows each sport she writes about, but the children participating in them as well.

My 4 year old loves this collection of dolls and books. The dolls are VERY simply designed but the stories are earnest, and about practice, dedication and working as a team. The dolls have very simple clothes and are a little cheaply made but for some reason my daughter loves them which is good enough for me.

Great values, good storyline. We like the whole series, particularly soccer girl, runner girl, and swimmer girl. The author teaches hard work, discipline, good sportsmanship.

Cute story for young girls. The quality is what you would expect for the price. The paperback book is an easy add to a stocking or an additional gift. For the price I was very pleased.

I bought two of the book/doll sets and both girls loved them. The book is well written and beautifully illustrated, portraying a very realistic view of a swim team meet and practice. Perfect for new swimmers wanting to join the team!

I think the books are wonderful. I bought 5 sets of them from Amazon and am giving them to friends who have daughters and granddaughters in the age range. I gave a set to one friend and she immediately purchased the doll to go with the book. They are very well written and beautifully illustrated.
