Good upgrade for Sennheiser HD 4.50 SE
Though I rate the sennheiser HD 4.50 as a very solid performer in the crowded & competitive over-ear ANC headphone category the cans are let down by a fairly unforgiving set of ear pads. They're small, hard and unbreathing - its a very obvious downside of the competitive pricing of an otherwise pretty good-performing headphones.the ear pads from Brainwavz have improved the comfort of wearing the headphones enormously. They're larger than stock - which means my ears are comfortably encircled by the cans now. The Microsude material is soft and comfortable. I've noticed no discernable difference in the Noise Cancelling capability of the the cans, nore have i experienced any reduction or alteration to the soundstage with the replacement pads - but I HAVE noticed how much more comfortable they are to use. I've very happy with the purchase. I was unsure if the pads would fit this set of cans - but they do. Nicely. They're relatively easy to attach to the cans (and this from someone who always finds putting earpads on cans a bit fiddly). In short, I reckon these replacement pads were well worth the cost. I'm enjoying using the headphones and listening to my music more.

Made my headphones usable again
Ordered for Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and has transformed them from a head vice to very comfortable. Was going to try the newer Momentum 3.0 as they have very slightly larger earpads than the 2.0, but these saved me a few hundred quid, as gave up waiting for Sennheiser support to bother replying with the actual dimensions of the 3.0 before shelling out - many thanks to Brainwavz, excellent product, highly recommend.

Gives you a comfy fit and feel
These replacements fit well over my large ears and improved the comfort of my Nad headphones . Fitting was a little bit fiddly but could just be that the groove on the Nads is quite small .They did make my ears quite warm after about an hour but it may be just me, overall I would recommend these over my standard Nad pad but would suggest you try them first

Cool and Comfy
Theses are excellent ear pads and I use them on my Focal Clear Professional, they are more comfortable than the originals and do not have any effect on the sound. A word of caution you will need to trim them in order for them to fit on the attaching rings which can be retrieved from a well used set of original ear pads.

10/10 - just get a pair
Literally a bought a pair of brainwavz for every new headset I get.Highly recommend if you have larger ears like myself that some smaller cups will hurt your ears after a while!!

Frustrating to fit but worth it.
It was very frustrating trying to fit them onto my HyperX Cloud II headphones but once fitted they are fantastic. Very comfortable.Update - they have now started leaking black dye onto everything they touch, they lasted about 7 weeks before this began to happen. What a ripoff

High quality materials and good stitching, good memory foam
Brainwavz stands out among other makers of replacement cushions, the memory foam is real, suede is soft and looks durable

Very comfortable good quality. And not as itchy as others I've tried.

These work for the HyperX CloudX Flight
I bought these for the HyperX CloudX Flight because the stock earcups are rather shallow. After reading many, many reviews, I decided to try out the suede ones.Pros1. Intensely comfortable. The microsuede material is soft to the touch and feels good against the side of my head.2. The suede ones also use memory foam, so after a few seconds, the fit is exceptional.3. The CloudX Flights no longer slide around on my head.4. My ears no longer press up against the driver enclosure like they did on HyperX's pads.5. Relatively cheap and easily available. I can't tell you how many headphones I've owned where good replacements are easy to find like this.6. I can hear the room around me when I mute the headset, but I can't hear it if I have any sound playing. So, not perfect sound isolation, but definitely good enough. No complaints there.Neutral1. The sound signature does change a bit. The bass gets a tough more boomy and the treble gets a touch less punchy. I suspect it's just a function of my ears being further away from the drivers. I actually quite like the difference, it sounds like a more refined version of what the CloudX Flights sounded like before. It doesn't seem to change the sound signature, but rather it feels like it calms down a lot of the harshness in the high end while boosting the low end every so slightly. I quite like it and makes it much easier to listen to stuff for a longer period of time before becoming fatigued.I also acknowledge that this change may not be a positive one for all headphones. Your mileage may vary.2. Installation can be a bit of a pain. These do fit and they fit just fine. However, I had to trim off a bit of the material off of the back in order to make it fit. The notch where the headphones connect simply wasn't deep enough. It isn't a big deal, but if you use a HyperX product, you may need scissors for installation.Cons1. I was hoping a cloth ear cup would cool these down a little bit. The velour might, but the suede does not. They still get a bit toasty after some use, just like the stock ear cups.2. Since the pads are literally twice as thick as the stock ones, it does increase the lateral pressure (clamp force). It doesn't bother me at all, but it is still a downside to using a thicker pad.3. I am concerned about long term cleanliness. Velour, for all its pros and cons, is reasonably easy to clean. Suede, on the other hand, generally isn't, so I'm still Googling around to figure out how to clean face oil off of suede (I shower daily, but genetics are genetics, sadly). Hopefully I can find a solution so these don't end up a crunchy mess after like 6 months.Overall, the microsuede ones are a big improvement over the stock earcups for the HyperX CloudX Flights (and, probably, the other Cloud headsets lol). The sound is smoother, the comfort is worlds better, and the increased clamp force keeps them from sliding around on my head. I do wish they were a bit cooler, but at least they fixed every other problem I was having. I may also get the velour editions just to see how they go (velour has regular foam, which is more breathable, which usually means cooler ears)...but to be honest, the sound on the suedes are phenomenal so I might just live with it.In any case, these are winners. 100% recommended, at least for HyperX Cloud users.

Amazing! Just buy them. Fit the Meze 99 Classics quite well and substantially improve the comfort.
I recently purchased the Meze 99 Classics headphones and was in fact thinking of selling them due to the discomfort while wearing. The stock earpads are just awful. They would press against my ears to the point where I couldn't wear the headphones for more than 15 minutes at a time.I did loosen the clamp force of the headphones by stretching out the spring steel headband which somewhat improved comfort, but the stock earpads would still give me that 'pinching' sensation around my ears after some time. However, these Brainwavz earpads (in addition to me stretching out the spring steel headband) has led to substantially improved comfort where now using the 99 Classics is actually enjoyable and I look forward to using them. So I'll now be keeping these headphones. The Brainwavz pads are also deeper, so if your ears touch the inside of the cups with the stock earpads, chances are they won't with these aftermarket ones.In addition to being deeper, these Brainwavz earpads are also thicker and have much more foam (and arguably better quality foam) inside them, which better disperses the weight and clamp force of the headphones around your ears and in turn leads to far greater comfort. The stock earpads also feel 'cheap', whereas the Brainwavz ones feel a lot more luxurious and premium.Aesthetically, the Brainwavz earpads, being larger, make the Meze 99 headphones look more 'substantial', imposing and 'heavy-duty', whereas the headphones look rather puny with the stock earpads.Although the Brainwavz earpads are not technically made for the Meze 99 series of headphones and are instead designed for the Audio Technica ATH-M50X, they fit the Mezes quite well (although installing them can be a bit tricky initially). The pads are available in several finishes - microsuede, velour, hybrid, perforated, pleather, etc. I purchased the Microsuede ones.I can wholeheartedly recommend these earpads.Shame on Meze for including such atrocious earpads with their headphones. I understand that they have to hit a certain price-point for their more affordable headphones, but still, the quality on the stock earpads is so poor that you would expect them with $50-$100 headphones, not $300 Mezes.I am not affiliated with Brainwavz in any way. This is just a PSA for current owners of the Meze 99 Classics/Neo headphones, so that they can enjoy these headphones with far greater comfort.

Comodissimi
Consigliato!

Good soft smooth ear pads recommended for m50
An upgrade over the stock ear pads for the M50 headphones which were thin and started flaking badly on the third year in leaving my face covered in black flakes. Fits well on m50. Stretch it a little and it will fit perfectly. My m50 headband has also been flaking for the last few years and my drawers, forehead and storage have been filled with little black flakes over the years.8 years on there is nothing left to flake anymore because the cloth exposed cushion stock headband is all that’s left. It should never have been coated in the first place if it was to deteriorate. Otherwise still solid drivers in the headphones. Suede earpads - for lasting comfort and quality is my recommendation. No itchy issues. Well made. Thicker. I can’t tell if there is any change in sound quality. Same to me.
