A wonderful companion for iMac
In case of memory upgrades its important to match the channel, clock latency CAS(9-9-9-24), voltage and frequency, data rate and speed. This way you can prevent the BSOD or system crashes and maintain longevity of the system. One should carefully go through the apple product webpage about recommended guidelines and choose upgrade accordingly. This is good for windows machines as well. Crucial is a very successful brand in USA and has reputation for memory solutions all over the world. Its availability in India with warranty service is a boon. Though for windows machines one can get many options, with apple products a careful selection is required. Its installation is fairly simple - going through apple as well iFixit web page gives accurate details and youtube videos are really helpful. I bought this because i have had good experience with crucial products earlier : - Crucial brand and warranty (3 years in India ) - Branded for use with apple (hardware match) - no incompatibility issues - Good pricing - competitive - Amazon : easy and hassle free buy.

Great product for Macbooks!
Installed a couple of these (4GBx2) on my Macbook Pro (Early 2011) and they work like a charm. OSX recognized the new configuration instantly. Apps such as Word, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign open much more faster than they used to on 4GB before. The overall performance of the laptop is much faster now. Overall a great buy for Mac users!

A good upgrade for my mid 2011 21
A good upgrade for my mid 2011 21.5" iMac. The installation was straight forward and it took hardly 5 min. Now my Mac is working to my satisfaction.I am now using 12 GB (2+2 GB original and 4+4 GB this module) in my iMac. Hope I have solved my memory problem.

Great for mid-2011 iMac
Yosemite upgrade brought my Mid-2011 iMac with 4GB RAM to its knees. If I open more than a few applications, the mac would crawl. I bought two of these RAMs, and my mac is now running with 12GB RAM (2+2 existing, 4+4 new). All problems solved!
