How to Draw Almost Everything for Kids

My 11 year old loves to draw, and I was looking for something for him with a bit of structure. Something that would capture his attention and help him with things like perspective and composition, but that would still be fun. I also purchased How to Draw Almost Everything for adults, but this one for children is good for a 20 minute after-school art session. So far so good!

This shows you how to draw in a child like way. I think it’s whimical. I especially like the people drawings. If you like Me & My Big Ideas characters, this is a little similar to it

This book has an interesting approach to teaching. It's sort of a workbook, with cute images to first trace, then copy, then draw in your own style in the spaces provided. The book recommends using ballpoint pens and not pencil, which surprised me a bit. The illustrations are cute and simple enough to inspire children or those who are seeking to recapture the fun they had drawing as children.

My granddaughter loved this book. At nine she loves to draw and this gave her fun ways to practice!

The book provided easy to follow step-by-step instructions.

My daughter loves this. She’s 8 so some Are still challenging but she feels good about what she has done.

Very good book to teach children how to draw. Bought it as a gift. Very happy with it.

A great book for a young, budding artist. It can take them to the next level with simple additions they can apply to any of their drawings.

Fun and easy to use. Great for boosting your skills. I was a little disappointed that its titled how to draw almost anything and there are no vehicles/cars/construction/boats/planes etc though. My 8 year old found it easy to follow and copy and use solo.
