The standard range of a trumpet is low F# to high C above the staff. All the note in this range should be playable with any trumpet mouthpiece and Bb Trumpet in good operating condition. This is also dependent on the trumpet player. If you are asking will I be able to play double C because of this mouthpiece that is dependent on the player not the mouthpiece. A mouthpiece is just part of the tools that is needed to play, just like the slides, valves, leadpipe etc. There is no magic trumpet mouthpiece that will make it so you can play a double C. Some make it easier to play high depending on the player None will take a player that can play middle C and the next day be playing double C. I recommend the help of a qualified teacher to help you pick out a mouthpiece to meet your needs. Great mouth piece.

I'm not totally satisfied with it as of yet

I've been using Schilke mouthpieces for about 10 years now. I donated my last one to musicians in Haiti. As for this one I ordered from amazon, I'm not totally satisfied with it as of yet. I thought it'll help with my high register notes. But not necessarily so..

Very bright sound.

I’m a lead trumpet player for my high school and I was exploring. Thought this mouthpiece feels great and I 100% recommend it, wide bowl and a shallow cup. Only thing that I dislike is how bright my tone is, my director told me I can’t use it because my tone is so much brighter then the 3 or 5C. If you have classical music or want a bright tone then this may be great for you.
