This mix of milkweeds provides a season long source of food for the Monarch larva. Mix SS-MM1 contains the following 4 species of milkweed: Butterfly Milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa), Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca), Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata), and Whorled Milkweed (Asclepias verticillata).

I have had some issues with some of the seeds that I have purchased and because of that I purchased a lot of these to make sure at least one would grow. To my surprise these seeds have been growing great. Now that the weather in MN is warming up I am able to replant outside in our wildflower garden. Cant wait to watch the butterflies and other insects enjoy the milkweed. I would recommend these to everyone.

I planted the seeds and so far one has come up. I am hoping for more in the future. I don't know if Monarch butterflies come down this far, but I want to be ready when and if they show up.

Not sure if they were too old.
They never sprouted. Even tried inside, soaked in paper towels, nothing. Duds

A dud, sadly
Not one germinated

would prefer a milkweed cutting
Slow to germinate, germination rate is less than 50% and it is quite possible that birds enjoy these seeds.

Sent them to a relative in Tennessee and she didn't have much better luck.
These did not grow in Florida. I used several packs where only a couple sprouted and they grew way too slow. Sent them to a relative in Tennessee and she didn't have much better luck.

One expensive plant
Only one seed germinated. I will be babying it, hoping to get seeds for next year. Disappointed
