UPDATE: I received a response from the Olde Brooklyn Coffee and they explained that the packing of the coffee for shipping is done by Amazon. They also offered to make things correct and I am grateful for that. I lived in Brazil and appreciate coffee from there. This roast is spot on for morning coffee that is distinct from the cafezinho that is akin to an afternoon espresso. Thanks to Emily at OBCC. Received coffee this afternoon. I love the flavor, and am upset that this is the second time I have received a package that was open. The beans had spilled some inside the Amazon shipping bag. I emailed the company previously and never heard back from them. Unfortunately I have probably ordered my last coffee from the Brooklyn Coffee Company.

Rather particular about my coffee, this is $ well spent imo (Brazilian santos)

In looking for a replacement bean for my regular, don pablo signature after they dropped the ball on delivery, I tried this. The flavor is very nice! Has a good bit of mocha, just a touch of nuttiness and tinge of natural sweetness. It could be a little stronger for my taste but still makes a very good cup of espresso or iced latte. It's not too oily although the color looks it in pics. The bag is no frills and is not resealable so I store in a container in the freezer.

Beans make a coffee full have flavor. Beans are fresh not dried out.

As a grad student just looking for a nice affordable cup(s) of coffee to keep me awake at all hours, this massive bag of coffee was a nice surprise. Its affordable, grinds up well, and makes a nice smooth cup of coffee. The flavor is lighter, so if you're looking for something that packs a bold punch it may not be for you. However, its tasty, drinkable, and will surely do the trick. If and when i eventually work through the large bag of beans i purchased, I will definitely purchase again.

This used to be the bomb best coffee ever. The quality of the bean and the consistency of product delivers has changed over rhe past 2 years and price has gone up. I would happily still.pay the price but the taste just isn't there anymore. I have been taste testing other brands for a dew months and have finally found one that is more consistent and not so bitter. I'm sad to post this as yiu were always my favorite and I got compliments but not like I said for quite some time.
