if you want an excellent result, clay your car paint first. shine is insane. cant say durability yet but it will make your paint like a solid ice block. i sprayed on paint, glass, head lights. works on every thing for me. very happy with this product. if you want a maximum result, CLAY YOUR CAR FIRST.

This is by far the best polish I have used for my car and I have tried and used dozens of other waxes, detailing sprays and ceramic coatings. Black Fire takes out many scratches and swirl marks many other polishes do not.

After washing, claying, sanding and polishing my car for two days, I am convinced this product does NOT work. (Picture attached after it has rained) The water does not drop off especially at the slight incline my hood is on. Everything sticks, basically it feels like this is nothing but a detailer and my car is the same exact way after a regular wash. Extremely disappointing realizing this after you spent two full days working on your car expecting for this product to give you protection while it’s nothing but a blank. Going to try to get a refund. Don’t waste your time or money.

Background, I've been detailing cars for over 38 years and I have an entire shelf full of products I have tried out. I won't bore you with all the details just this: This is the best product for giving your vehicle an amazing shine, protection, and keeping it clean. Applied to a new vehicle (2017 Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve) with no surface prep besides washing, it looks like I spent an entire day on it. Amazing shine with super reflectivity. When it dries, it feels hard and very slick, but not sticky. Dust and dirt and water do not stick to the paint. After driving around for a week in the rain, the vehicle still looks clean like I just washed. I have never seen a product with this much hydrophobic and anti-static properties that keeps a vehicle looking this clean. Bugs also do not stick or mar the paint, after a 1000 mile road trip through the south, all the bugs just washed right off with no sticking or spots. Also applied on a 2010 Audi S5 coated with Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Coating. I thought the ceramic coating had a pretty good reflective shine to it but Blackfire SiO2 Sealant took it to the next level! This is going to be a great booster to already sealed or coated paint, just like the description says. Pros: Amazing Shine Super Easy to apply, wipe on, wipe off Keeps the car looking clean Excellent water shedding properties (hydrophobic) BIg quart bottle should last for years on multiple vehicles Good price for the quality and amount of product Good durability, seems to hold up well to rain and multiple washes Cons: Not for every surface, a little streaky on glass and not made for plastic If you let it dry on your microfiber towel, will ruin it and turn it pink. Wash right away if you want to save it. Does not fill or hide scratches, if your paint has these, will need to polish first. If paint is really bad, may need to clay bar, compound, AND polish before this. This is not an All In One (AIO) product. This is a Last Step product. This is now my "go to" last step product. Once applied, just need to wash the car, I blow it dry with a blower, and then wipe on/wipe off SiO2. It is amazing and keeps from spending all day with the buffer and keeps the paint looking clean. Can't wait to try it during pollen season!

Someone told me this would be a good product for my paint but honestly I can't really tell if it does much of anything. I gave it a few months and a few applications but feel it's probably best for me to cut my losses and try something else.
