I got this Minecraft Legos set for my granddaughter for her 8th birthday. I let her pick it out and she was beyond excited when it came in the mail. Minecraft has made a resurgence and is more popular than ever. My granddaughter loves these Legos! I am amazed that, with the smaller pieces, she can put them together so easily. I think Legos are great for brain development and hours of enjoyment for kids. The set is so cute and is an incredible value for the money. I recommend this fun set for children who are fascinated, or not, with Minecraft.

This is a phenomenal lego set. The large chicken is so detailed and so neat, the egg laying detail is so funny and cool. The way it does it is so ingenious and smooth so is not difficult to do even for a smaller child. This set is not as tiny as other reviewers have mentioned... I thought it was nicely sized. The small details such as the small chickens, seeds, bone and feather are really neat and you won't find those in other sets. This can be played with your other sets just like in the game and really looks nice with the mushroom islands next to it. I definitely suggest this set, you won't be disappointed as long as you follow the directions and put it together right!

Granddaughter loves it!

My grandson loves Minecraft and Legos!! He loves chickens so this set was perfect for him.

My grandson loved this gift because he loves Lego Minecraft. As with all Lego products, they are quite expensive but loved by younger children. He was thrilled by his gift & put it together with a small amount of help.

I personally really liked this set but I wanted point out a few things for parents who might not know Minecraft that well. It comes with Alex instead of Steve. She hasn't been around as long as Steve. So if I was getting a gift for an older player I'd go for a set with Steve. Otherwise you'll probably want to ask which one they prefer. This set also doesn't come with any monsters. Minecraft isn't just about building nice things, it's about surviving and protecting yourself from dangers. If this is their first set I would look for a set with a "creeper" which is one of the more iconic monsters. Overall this is a very nice complementary set. If you just want chicken farm or already have a few of the other sets it's very reasonable for $15-$20.

My 7 year old built this in a flash and he loves it. it was difficult but attainable for him to build on his own. he loves the little eggs and chickens and likes to set his up exactly like the photo on the box, which is totally possible. great toy, great product, exactly like the game.
