Hall Crystal Flute 11215 - Inline Glass Piccolo in C - Rose/Green

A gift for my husband, the musician. He loves unique instruments and records many original pieces. This is a lovely addition to his collection.

I am severely clinically depressed, and nothing has brought me joy in months. Heck, I've been struggling trying to chase down something to make me feel *anything*.I eventually got the itch to start playing music again. Life is short, and I don't want to waste it away doing things I don't really, honestly feel like, day after day, in hopes that *this* time, surely I'll get some amount of serotonin.I played the flute all through middle school high school, so I started looking up flutes and flute-like instruments that were affordable enough to be able to play. Tonight, I was able to feel like myself again.Yes, that would probably be the case with any flute I got to play right now. But I didn't get to play just any flute. I got to play *this* one. A beautiful, ivy-patterned, gentle, sweet instrument. That meant the world to me.

The media could not be loaded. The pictures and description leads you to think this is a glass flute. It's more a piccolo than a flute. It's very thin so it feels a lot like plastic. The dragon carving is beautiful though. Just not what I thought I was getting and definitely doesn't seem worth the price, but my sister was happy and loved it.

I got this instrument to play right out of the box. I have quite a collection of fife sheetmusic that plays well on this instrument. This includes marching, ballads, sacred, and irish tunes. Thanks.

This piccolo is absolutely stunning! Definitely worth it. Also make sure to check fingering charts when buying hall crystal flutes/piccolos. You may think their “C” instruments would have the most similar fingering for the same notes on the flute, but “D” actually has the most similar fingerings. Happy playing!

I so wanted to be able to play this at a social gathering, but alas there is barely a note emitted. It is quite lovely to look at, so it remains on display.

Perfect! It arrived quickly, and was breathtaking to open. The sound is lovely and the design is beautiful. I simply adore it! A fair price for such a high quality instrument. Definitely would buy from this seller again :)
