My wife loves to cook Italian food and won't use any other canned tomatoes. They're pricey, but she says they're worth it.

Great product but dented cans
These are excellent crushed tomatoes, but what I got is the canned-goods equivalent of factory seconds. Every can in a case of 12 was dented significantly. I don't think this is an accident or a coincidence. Dented cans obviously are less likely to sell in a grocery store, so those get directed to a secondary market like Amazon.I wish I could find Pastene at one of my local grocery stores. Oh, well.

Fantastic texture for saices
It’s worth it to subscribe and save on these tomatoes. The flavor is fresh and sweet and I love the ‘ground’ texture—no giant pieces, not runny either. Ideal for Sunday sauce and Friday night pizza

Love my Pastene Tomatoes!
I only use Pastene kitchen ready to make all my tomato based recipes from the Italian gravy to my chili. I cannot get this wonderful product in NC so thankfully I can from this Amazon affiliate. Tastes as good as fresh jarred tomatoes. Glad it is now available in organic!
