Nice Quality
Works good just a tough job getting each cylinder in top dead center during compression. Good investment to go with it is a vacuum gauge that measures vacuum and pressure. I also tied a balloon to an old compression gauge with Schrader valve removed. This will tell you when your approaching compression, then dial hit in with vacuum gauge..

not for dirt bike/motorcycle
This is not what you want to use for leak down test on dirt bike or probably any single cylinder engine, it says it goes from 0-100 psi but what it doesn't say is you "zero it out" @ 30 psi which is basically useless for a proper leak down test. Look for one that has at least 100 psi DUAL GAUGES, not one like this model.

works
not precision but accurate enough to compare against other cylinders

Excellent
This is an excellent cylinder leakage tester. Regulator works very well at getting the exact amount of air needed for the test. Instructions and percentage/leakage chart are included. Gauges are easy to read and seem good quality.

Not accurate.
It's not accurate at all on leakage percentage but will help you find where air is leaking past.

pressure gauge malfunction
Uunfortunately, I cannot leave a good review for my experience with this tester. The tester arrived quickly and I was eager to use it. However as posted in some of the reviews, I found once the tester was calibrated according to instructions, that the pressure gauge on the tester would not allow over 23lbs of pressure. It is not a complicated tool to manufacture and I figured it just wasn't being used properly by those reviewers. My compressor was set to deliver 80 lbs but tester would only register 23 lbs no matter how much pressure I set to deliver on my compressor. It would register the pressure from the compressor close to the accurate pressure until you calibrated the leakdown gauge as instructed. Then it would drop pressure back down to 23-24lbs. That is not enough pressure to do an accurate leak down test on most engines. I am returning the tester and they are sending me a replacement (thanks Amazon). However, since a number of reviewers have had the exact same issue with the tester I am not optimistic it will work any better. No matter how much money you save, if the tool doesn't work you wasted time and money. I will update once I receive the new tester.PS. you need to make sure you have a proper adapter if your engine has long spark plugs as mine did. The adapter fittings in the kit would not reach the threads on my Yamaha 100 hp outboard. Fortunately, I was able to use an adapter out of my compression tester kit that I had on hand.update 8/7/2020: received replacement tester in the mail very quickly and was excited to use it on my outboard motor. (thanks Amazon!) However, as with the first unit I received, the second unit was also defective. MAximum pressure it would let you test with? 28lbs. Far below needed pressure for an accurate test. I am returning both units and getting a refund. I will bite the bullet and purchase a better-made brand unit for twice the money. I rolled the dice on this cheap chinese tool and crapped out. Not recommended. Other brands of this same tool under other sellers have the exact same problem after reading the reviews more thoroughly. Don't waste your time get a better made tool for more money.
