Beautiful colors and combinations of pattern! They consist of two layers of saris with a thin layer in between. They do have loose threads on one end but it looks somewhat purposeful; not like a fringe but it is uniform. Other info that was important to me in this purchase is that the quilts are made from recycled saris by women/families in Bengal, India, to improve their quality of life. It takes 2-3 days to make one quilt and each one is unique. Friendly and responsive customer service. Only missing the fifth star because the packaging was too small for the quilts and one edge was split. Quilts were in individual bags so no damage.

Lovely patterns and colors! Disappointed in the manner some are patched with no regard for neatness or color similarities. Received on time and individually packaged. Average quality at a reasonable price.

The entire box smells like mildew and some visible mildew on a couple of the quilts. All edges are unfinished, so unsure about washing without them falling apart. I have another one at home that is much superior in quality and washed like a dream.
