Do the research on this title before slamming amazon
Just found out about this book from another DS vet.Yes, there were copies made available to each state, but publicity obviously didn't get the word out. Remember my service.com has copies of the book for vets that want more than one. The price I found on amazon was better than the one listed on the publisher web site. As of 12-2017 I understand that qualifying vets can still request one from their state veterans affairs, but you will have to probably look up the info and show them as many of the offices didn't get the word either. Figured I'd put one in the bag for the grandkids and then try to get my free copy if it's still available.

Excellent book for Veterans
I got this book for someone who was in the 2nd Cav. He loved it and saw some of his battles, tanks etc. He enjoyed the video also which was a nice bonus. The book arrived right on time and in good shape. Thanks

False Advertisement
This was posted as a Commerative Book with the DVD included. When the book arrived it had a " Salvation Army Store" sticker on the back cover for$4.99 and the DVD was missing from the book.So now I'll have to spend another $24 + to get a replacement DVD to complete the set.

This is an excellent book, and accompanying DVD feature-length documentary
This is an excellent book, and accompanying DVD feature-length documentary, which has been featured at the GI Film Festival. Both the book and the documentary contain eyewitness accounts of the war and the individual sacrifices made by so many, most until now, unknown and undocumented. This book contains important historical information not found in any other source on the Gulf War and Desert Storm. Yes, the book was indeed, paid for by the State of Kuwait to distribute to Gulf War Veterans as a gift demonstrating their honest appreciation. Those you see being offered for sale on Amazon and elsewhere are being sold by individuals who have received copies as gifts, or from some other source. Of course personal gifted copies offered for sale online cannot be controlled by the publisher. That was not their intent when the project was launched.
