Great value for money. Easy to use, no cables to run out. Quality excellent and operates for long period on a charge.

Bought these after my electric set gave up the ghost. I was anxious about whether these would be up to the job but needn't have worried. Used them to trim a 120 foot x 8 foot beech hedge and they made a great job of it. Pleasantly surprised at the thickness of stem they went through fairly easily. Worth saying that I only did 1 side and all of the top as I'd managed to do the other side with my electric one before it packed up but the battery I bought separately was still going strong.The length of cut is ideal and it is lightweight enough to not make you feel that your arms are ready to drop off by the end. I found that the multiple trigger points were useful as it allowed me to hold the trimmer at different angles without it stopping on me as my I moved my hand around the handle.I completely missed the fact that it was a bare unit so had to buy a battery and charger separately but the trimmer itself is excellent and if you already have the battery and charger I'd fully recommend this but if not perhaps look at getting everything in a single order as it may well work out cheaper.

This trimmer is so easy to use. It is light making it easy to manouver, relatively quiet, has a good length of cut (55cm) and supplied razor sharp as I found when greasing the cutters before use. The 2.5Ah battery did both sides of a hedge about 40' long with a height of between 8-10' comfortably in record time. The top will have to wait until I put the platform up. It's a shame it can't be used with one hand but the safety triggers require to use both hands. Don't know battery life yet hence 4* there. Otherwise, I wary of going cordless but have been seriously impressed with this tool. It takes Home & Garden PBA batteries (avaiable as aftermarket relatively cheaply).

Much more manoeuverable than a corded unit and still reasonably powerful. The battery outlasts my attention span. Only downside is missing out on the extra year guarantee due to Bosch website. I hate sites which are finicky about passwords without setting out criteria, but finally put in a selection of letters numerals and symbols which satisfied. Then was told to wait for email. Email said press button, which I did, and was told registration activated. Put in password on website - not accepted! Why Fort Knox security required just to register purchase of equipment anyway?

I used to use a Stihl petrol trimmer but whilst it was excellent at cutting it was a pain to get started and weighed a lot, making it a real effort to use for long periods. This have been excellent, the cut is very clean and can handle a good thickness of branch (I mainly have beech and laurel). The anti jam mechanism is good, it's very lightweight and manoeuvrable making bigger jobs easier on my back and arms. I'm very impressed with the 18v 2.0 Ah battery, it's very quick to charge and provides plenty of power and longevity. Highly recommended and I happily leave my petrol trimmer to gather dust in the back of the garage.

I was undecided between a Bosch and another famous name that was exceptionally recommended but £75 dearer. However , having both a Bosch drill and screwdriver powered by their batteries (I seem to have 5), I went for this. I wanted lightweight, powerful and clever. This fulfils it’s promise.I made light of a 12ft x 12ft high hedge and it looks professionally done. The clever bit is that it cuts thick twigs/branches, and if it can’t, it reverse ferrets so it doesn’t jam. Amazing. Then it has another snip, a bit harder, usually succeeding!…and I was shocked at its capabilities. Keep fingers well clear.I do not regret buying this at all, and it arrived mid day Amazon prime on a Saturday.

Bought this to replace my old petrol hedge trimmer that weighed far too much (5.5kg when empty of fuel). I was a little dubious about buying a battery operated trimmer, but I have a sander and jig saw that both have the same battery so I figured I would be covered if I needed extra battery power part way through use. Well, yesterday I used it for the first time in anger and I out performed all of my expectations; lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, cuts well and excellent battery life. I was cutting a well established laurel hedge that covers 2 sides of my front garden and I easily had battery capacity left for over twice the amount.Very pleased with this - highly recommendable

Me gusta su peso y su buen funcionamiento,pero lo que nome gusta tanto es, la calidad de su espada y cuchilla de corte,pues están hechas con un acero muy blando, pues una marca de prestigio que es BOSCH debiera de emplear mejores materiales.

Funciona bien.Para un jardín doméstico es suficiente.La batería aguanta lo suficiente para terminar de cortar todo.

Da mir benzinbetriebene Geräte zu schwer sind, nicht für ältere Menschen sondern auch für jüngere, habe ich nach einem akkubetriebenen Gerät geschaut. Da ich einige Werkzeuge von Bosch 18LI habe, lag es nahe hier zu schauen und ich bin fündig geworden. Ich habe die Heckenschere ohne Akku gekauft und konnte mich so auch gleich davon überzeugen, ob alles einwandfrei kompatibel ist. Es passt perfekt und funktioniert ohne Probleme. Einige Rezensionen kann ich überhaupt nicht verstehen, wo gesagt wird, dass man damit richtig dicke Äste nicht schneiden könnte und das Gerät untauglich wäre.Erstens schneidet man Hecken nicht so tief, dass Geräte überhaupt sehr dicke Äste schneiden müssten weil dann kriegt man onehin keine glatte Optik hin und zweitens, schafft das Bosch Gerät 1-2cm ohne Probleme. Mehr habe ich nicht probiert und das reicht vollkommen. Hieraus das Produkt schlecht zu bewerten, führt auf Unwissen zurück. Wenn man alles ob dick oder dünn schneiden möchte, kann man sich gleich eine Kettensäge kaufen. Man kann die Heckenschere griffübergreifend halten und so die 2 Taster je nach Haltung betätigen. Es liegt handlich und ist vom Gewicht her so leicht, dass man bspw. nach 15-20 Minuten keinerlei Druck oder bleibende Anspannungen hat. Ich habe das Gerät nur solange getest um mich zu überzeugen ob ich es behalte. Es wirklich sehr gut dazu geeignet Hecken zu schneiden und ich möchte es nicht missen.Ich habe einige Bosch Geräte und bin auch mit diesem zufrieden. Daher meine Empfehlung und 5 Sterne. Wenn sich was ergeben sollte sowie Langzeiterfahrung, werde ich die Rezension erneut aktualisieren.

Ich habe seit längerem überlegt, mir einen neuen Akkuschrauber mit LI Akkus zuzulegen. Bei der Recherche bin ich auf die Power4All Serie von Bosch gestoßen. Mir hat die Idee gefallen, die Akkus zwischen beliebigen Geräten der Serie tauschen zu können. Somit kann man mit zwei Akkus problemlos einen ganzen Fuhrpark an Geräten bedienen.Ein Gerät, dass ich zusätzlich gekauft habe, war die Akku-Heckenschere AHS 55-20. Als erstes ist mir positiv aufgefallen, wie leicht die Heckenschere auch mit Akku ist. Ich habe eine kabelbetriebene Heckenschere von Bosch mit 45cm Schwert, die auch erst 4 Jahre alt ist, aber deutlich mehr wiegt. Ich habe mich dann direkt an den Praxistest gemacht. Insgesamt standen 30m Thujenhecke an, 1.8m hoch und 60 cm tief Vorder- und Rückseite. Das Schnittergebnis war hervorragend. Besonders positiv fand ich die Ergonomie der Heckenschere, die ein ermüdungsfreies Schneiden unterstützt. Ich habe mit einem Akku insgesamt 30m Vorderseite, 30m oben und 25m Rückseite geschafft. Dann hat die Schnittleistung nachgelassen, so dass ich den zweiten Akku genutzt habe. Ein wie ich finde absolut akzeptables Ergebnis.Fazit: Sehr gute akkubetriebene Heckenschere mit einem guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Pluspunkt auch für das Akkusystem
