Don’t give it a second thought. It is very good.

Only used a few times during my recent trip, but worked well and seems to be ok for stopping someone wandering off with the wrong skis during lunch or such - not good for hardened thieves but most locks won't stop people with bolt croppers or good snips.

I was hoping that this being a Yale product the lock would have been sturdier: the wire clips in to a plastic retention mechanism so it is possible to brake it without tools, with a bit of leverage/purchase. Ok the wire can be cut as easily with a pair of cable cutters, like for all this types of locks, but a more sturdy mechanism was what I was after.It is quite large, compare to similar products, so may look more beefy and secure, but to me is a small disadvantage as will put in a back pocket whilst cycling. No quite what I was after but an ok product.

Bought for traveling, super handy and not as conspicuous as travelsafe stuff..
