Once you figure out how to get it started it work very well the instructions are not clear but I'll look on the web verified the starting procedure mood both discs as instructed then push the cloning button once the lights will start blinking what's the clone button a second time and the first light should start blinking when you accomplish that then the unit works perfectly

Great device idea, unfortunately, poorly engineered. Tried 3 drives (2 known good and 1 known bad). On the good drives, it only recognized one. While trying to copy from the good drive to my laptop, the device shut the docked hard drive off mid-copy more than 30 times in 12 hours. Would have to Safely Remove device from Windows, unplug USB, power off, power on, reconnect, and try copy again. Possibly heat related because the base and drive both got rather warm. Turning the docking station on its side seemed to give better results, but would still just drop the drive randomly.Tried the SD Card and CF Card slots. The SD worked without issue. The CF slot never worked.Returning for a refund and will try a different brand. Sad because I really liked this design and purported feature.

This is a cheaply made piece of garbage.The micro SD slot works fine so it gets 2 stars for versatility but the Hard Drive slots did not work for me at all which is the primary function of the device.I tried 6 different fully working hard drives and it was not able to mount any of them.I had high hopes for this product but ended up very disappointed.Dont buy it. Save your money.
