My mother is rehabilitating from a broken hip. She has a modular tub/shower that does not have a handle in it, nor is there a place to which I could affix a permanent handle. This product is easy to place and then move again. We were able to test out several placement locations before settling on the ideal location to assist her getting in and out of the tub. It is strong and secure, it can bear my weight and I am a lot stronger and heavier than her. It is new and I am still cautious, so I warned my mother to give it a test yank each time before she uses it just to make sure it still has strong suction. I am considering buying another one just to make it easier and safer for her to get in and out with another anchor point.

The feel of the handle is smooth. However, they do not stay attached to the shower wall. They consistently fall off even after Cleaning the wall, cleaning the suction cups. wetting the suction cups nothing seems to work to keep them attached to the wall. They are NOT safe to use for someone that is dependent on having a sturdy item to help them hold onto to keep them from falling while showering. If you want them for someone who needs help to get out of the tub I would NOT recommend this product. Buy something else!

I put the bar on the tile. Wanted to reposition and flipped the tabs. The thing did not budge. Tried to flip the tabs back, now the tabs would not flip back. The bar is dead stuck on the wall . No way to reposition. Have to hire someone to get it off. Hope it will not pull the tile. Not worth the aggravation. The box does not even say where it was made, no address of phone number. The usual Chinese good for nothing product. Buy American.

We purchased 2 of these suction handles after previously ordering 1 back in November. The fist unit we ordered worked beautifully. It holds to the wall nice and strong. However, the 2 units we ordered for another tub do not hold onto the wall at all. Since the tub surround is a solid surface there is no reason for them not to work. I tried to attach them to the shower where the first one is installed and they would work there either. On one handle the suctions cups rippled around the edges so that is probably why it doesn't work and I can't see any reason why the 2nd one doesn't hold. So, you take your chances when you order this product - good luck.

These grab bars don't fit correctly on tiled baths. They fit on one square tile, partially on another. Not a good solid connection for safety. Have connected it to top of bathtub, and after a while, it loosened. Permanently drilled grab bar is the safest way to go for peace of mind. Purchased for my elderly parents.

I didn't expect much but I did expect it to hold five minutes after I finally was able to get it attached I was in the other room and I could hear it fall down that happened multiple times. This thing does not adhere let alone support anyone if they need to use it

Works as long as you don’t place it on the cracks or like any suction it won’t hold. Any suction holder needs to be on a flat smooth surface.

I’ve used similar products and I thought I’d get a less costly one. This fell off the shower wall within a few days of attaching it. Make to check it before stepping up.
