Why Pay More?
These shorts, like all of my Bikewa purchases, are well-made and well-finished. When I ordered my first pair of Bikewa shorts, I'll admit I was a little worried about how the quality would be. They are not some cheap knock-off brand. These shorts have all the features of those costing far more. Great fit, thoughtful pockets, and plenty of comfort. I'm not saying that they are the same as the far more expensive brands, but unless you have some sort of need to wear the most expensive kit out there, these are great products. The stitching is solid, the materials are high-quality, and the padding is very nice. There are five pockets, one on each thigh and three on the back, with one of the back pockets having a zipper, which is great for keys, cash, or a small wallet. The thigh pockets are plenty large enough for a phone, the rear main pockets are about the same as on any other pair of bib shorts -- perfect for sunglasses or gels. The suspenders are made of a very light, yet durable material. They keep the shorts up, but don't interfere with ventilation. Unlike on some of my other bibs, they don't get all tangled up when putting the shorts on. The leg length is standard, landing an inch or two above my knees. The legs have a non-slip gripper to keep them from riding up. There are reflective stripes on each thigh for visibility. My only wish is that the shorts had a flap in the front to make nature breaks a little easier -- but I'm just a recreational/fitness rider, not one who races. I'm 6'1" and weigh about 215 pounds. The XL fits me perfectly.

Pretty decent for the price!
These are some really nice bibs for the price! I rode with them this morning on the trainer and I liked them so much I ordered 3 more pairs. The shammy is very minimal but very comfy. I dont like think padding that makes you feel like you got a diaper on. These fit exactly how I like my shorts to fit. Everything stays in place and the legs dont ride up while riding. The material is very comfortable as well. The bid straps for nice and the material feels well made. I did just a short 40min trainer ride and nothing felt off. I could definitely see myself riding a 4-5hr ride with no complaints. I love how they have extra pockets and even one with a zipper. I dont use a saddle bag and if im carry stuff its normally in my jersey pockets so this is awesome to have more stash spots! Zipper feels good as well. I went with a size Medium. All my cycling apparel is a men's medium and based on the size chart I fell into the small or medium area. Id say they fit pretty much like my other bibs. Maybe a tad looser around the thigh area but id suggest buying what you would normally. Small would have worked but I think to snug around my legs. For reference thats how I fit even in the big name company's cycling clothing. My only issue and why I only gave 4 stars is I had to snip off a bunch of threads from the stitching. They definitely could of done a better job on that aspect. Otherwise im looking forward to putting a lot of miles on these!

lots of pockets; Medium fits 5'10"; 180lb/34" waist; Less padding than others
I ordered these because I only have one pair of padded biking shorts and I like the bib style. I ordered medium based on the size chart and that does fit me well. The straps might be a little tight, but they aren't adjustable and stretch a bit. I have a 33/34" waist, am 5'10" tall, and weigh about 180. The legs fit well and aren't overly tight. The blue side panels make them stand out a bit. They are made from a stretchy material and the leg pockets also stretch when you put something in them (which helps since they are tight). There are also back pockets which are reachable though I'm not quite sure what I'll use them for. I do like the pockets as my other biking shorts have no pockets at all. The padding seems lighter than my other shorts but is sufficient. I took about an hour and 1/2 bike ride today wearing these and had no issues and they were comfortable the whole time. I also wore them which working out with weights at the gym (where the pockets were more handy) for about 1 hour and that was also comfortable. It's a bit difficult to tell how long they'll last but they do appear well-made. So, these seem to be well-fitting bike shorts that have a little less padding than others but lots of pockets.

Comfortable and secure, with one thing to consider
I picked these up hoping for a comfortable pair of cycling bibs that I would not have to keep messing with during a ride, and these have honestly been pretty solid for me. The padding is in a good spot and does not feel overly thick or awkward. It gives enough support to stay comfortable without feeling like you are wearing a diaper the whole time. After a few rides, I did not run into any irritation or weird pressure points. The leg grips do a good job of holding everything in place without digging in, which I really appreciate. Once they are set, they stay put. The shoulder straps are also comfortable and do not feel like they are pulling or getting annoying over time. I do like that these have zippered rear pockets. They are actually usable and feel secure enough for small stuff like keys or a card, which is nice to have without needing anything extra. The one thing that stood out to me, and this is just being real about it, is there is no zippered fly or easy access. With the bib style, getting these on and off is a bit of a process, so if you need a quick bathroom break during a ride, it is not exactly convenient. Not the end of the world, but definitely something I noticed. Fit wise, these felt true to size for me. I am 5 foot 8 and the sizing lined up well without needing to size up or down. They have that snug athletic feel without being too tight or restrictive. Overall, I would still say these are a solid pair of bibs. Comfortable, they stay in place, and the pockets are a nice touch. Just be aware of the extra effort it takes with the bib design when it comes to convenience.
