Miracle-Gro Indoor Plant Food Spikes - 48 spikes

I swear by these plant food spikes!!! The package says they are for indoor plants, but I actually use them for all of my outdoor plants, especially my herbs. I first tried these after planting some basil and other herbs that seemed to be taking an eternity to grow. I went to a local home improvement store and searched the garden center for plant food but many of them were priced much higher than I was willing to spend until I found these spikes. I figured I'd give them a try since they were so inexpensive and wow!!!!! Within just a few days, my plants had grown more than double what they had grown in the previous several weeks!! One of my friends (who also enjoys gardening) came over to my house and was in awe of how big and healthy all of my herbs were. When I told her about these spikes, she went straight from my house to purchase some and had the exact same growth results. I now keep at least one extra pack of these on hand stored in a ziplock bag to protect from any water/weather damage, and I add new spikes about once every 6-8wks to my plants. I now use these "plant steroid sticks" (as my boyfriends refers to them as) in all of my plants -- they worked great in my tomato plants this summer, too! These spikes are a must for anyone wanted big, beautiful healthy plants!!! **UPDATE - 4/20/16** I am still using these spikes and LOVING them! I wanted to post a picture showing exactly how incredible these spikes are. On Monday (4/18), I took a picture of some mint to show my boyfriend that had somehow managed to stay alive through the entire Erie, PA winter in our garage (with no light, water, care, etc -- just sat in the planter), because I couldn't believe that they were still alive. I was really excited and added a few new spikes to the planter hoping that the little buds would eventually keep growing around the new mint plant (which is in the center of the planter in the picture). The NEXT DAY (4/19), I went back outside to continue working on the beginnings of this season's garden and was COMPLETELY SHOCKED at how much the little buds had grown in less than 24hrs. I still had the picture on my phone from Monday, so I took a second picture to show a side-by-side comparison. :) :) :)

I’ve used different types of plant food, this is not my favorite. It does not dissolve, I’ve had one in my plant for a year and it is still sitting in the soil even after all the watering. The type of plant food I like better is liquid.

I bought these as they take up no space and the contents of a powder sometimes hardens. I could see the results within a day or two. I had a couple of plants that were struggling a little that have since I started using the spikes have perked up! I have plants that seem to continue to flower all year long and the spikes have definitely helped in feeding the blooms. They are easy to use and so much easier than mixing. I have bought these and few times and will continue. I also am a fan of Miracle-Gro and love that I found the spikes....so easy!

I absolutely adore this product. When I first got my coleus plants I seriously thought it was going to die in less than a week and I was just searching on Google for like a quick fix and I came across these plant food sticks and when I Brought it, it was about $2. I honestly didn’t think it was going to help but my plant is amazing now. I just stuck it In the soil and watered it regularly and two weeks later it was ready to move into a bigger pot. It is growing it is beautiful, it is a vibrant; every positive word you can think of basically. thank you so much miracle gro for turning me into a green thumb. Update: 10/05/19 My plant is brilliantly humongous and just still growing as an indoor plant. I love it. I have to use a ruler to make a path in my planter now because I transferred it to a 16 inch pot. It’s still growing in my apartment by the window. I know it’s going to make it through winter. Now I use it for my other plants (parlor palm and Joseph’s coat croton) and they are growing beautifully as well. I just ordered more.

Really simple and effective, I saw an improvement in my plants health and growth very quickly, so are a good quality. A cost effective plant food solution to my poor skill at keeping plants healthy.

It is a very good product. I use it for my indoor plants. Price is a bit high. In the US is 50 percent cheaper.

These little plant food sticks are fantastic. They come with a simple tool that lets you push the sticks neatly into the soil near the roots, which makes them easy to use and mess free. I have been using them for a couple of months now, and my plants are looking noticeably greener and healthier. The leaves look lush and strong, and there is a clear difference compared to before. There is really not much more to say. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, and they feed your plants consistently over time without the need to remember liquid feeds every week. It is a convenient solution for anyone who wants healthier plants without the hassle of regular mixing and measuring. My only small complaint is the price. I do think they are slightly expensive for what they are, but at the same time they work well, and you get what you pay for. For me the results justify the cost, so I will continue to buy them.
