Easy Upgrades, Unmatched Performance, Stellar Aesthetics
Aesthetics and Gaming performanceBeautiful Laptop, there's no denial there. The customization and colors of the keyboard are a wonderful bonus. It takes some time getting used to it, but once you're used it rocks. Strangely I don't get as many compliments on the "RTX" series sticker as opposed to my "Disco" preset keyboard lighting. Go figure. The graphics card speaks for itself in many ways and lives up to the expectation, in my opinion. There's still some faults, but optimization of the 2080 max q will come with time. The big thing here is that you can run any game on max settings and usually get between 60 - 100fps. The even bigger thing here is the amount of all that hardware in such a slim laptop. It definitely overpowers desktops in terms of performance on gaming. I don't think we need to get to much into gaming, as you can look at the hardware and just imagine the FPS on Ultra setting.Upgrades - I bought a Samsung 970 Evo 1TB SSD and Migrated then changed the boot BIOS to that, and have kept original 512 SSD as storage. Overkill? Why yes, yes it is. But in addition to gaming, I need all the space for apps like Unity 3D, Android Studio , Oracle, Eclipse, etc etc. So I needed more than the stock 512 IMO.Start up time? What's that?Screen quality is beautiful. I mean are there better resolutions? Yes. Will you notice? Not really.Portability - I bought an Anti-Theft backpack advertised as 17" along side this and it fits, rather too tight , into it. I still haven't gotten passed the treat it like it's made of super thin glass phase. But the portability is easier than my 15 inch Toshiba, and with the thin size can slip easily into 17 inch bags/sleeves.Is it worth 3,000? Why yes, yes it is. Do not regret my purchase, and will go as far as saying this has opened my eyes to MSI, to which I approached with caution before. Will definitely update within a couple months to see how everything's going.Another quick note - When I'm playing a resource heavy game, and have the fans on full blast(If you didn't know you can change the speed of the fans from within the dragon center) it does a wonderful job of keeping everything cool.SIDE NOTE - if you are upgrading the storage, the M2 slots already have the screws, but only a single pair SO DON'T LOSE THEM.Maybe worth mentioning? - Start up to login takes about 15-20 seconds. And half the time takes less than that.Honestly this laptop can take whatever you hurl at it.Stop reading and buy.

MSI GS75 Stealth 85G Gaming Machine
First off the packaging was very nice. The laptop came in a nice sleek box and a nice fabric sleeve. The laptop itself is very high quality. The specs on this laptop are insane for how slim it is. Its less than a quarter thick and can play most games on ultra settings. I personally am a fan of the matte black and coppery gold aesthetic. The RGB keyboard is also beautiful and very responsive. Being under 5 pounds makes this laptop very portable and doesn't fatigue your legs over long gaming sessions. Overall this laptop exceeded my expectations and is definitely worth the price.

Gaming Laptop Review
Where to start. Amazing,Powerful,Sleek and Gorgeous Is a good start. But you're here to read why you should or shouldn't buy this machine, and make no mistake this Is a BEAST of a MACHINE.Lets start off with power, Do you play FPS? MMO's? Maybe you're Interested In Virtual Reality. Well this BEAST comes with a Nvidia GeForce 1070 8G GDDR5 Max-Q GPU. That makes you VR ready, and gives you the power to play your games at 144hz! It might not be a 1080 TI or next Gen GPU, But It's all you will need to play games at Max or near Max for the future. I am a frames per second freak, I play my Battle Royal games at low/med settings no matter how beefy my rig Is, I'm here to tell you, you won't even need to do that with this laptop.Onto the Processor: Core i7-8750H 2.2 - 4.1GHz In a LAPTOP...... Do I have to say anything more? Throw a video game or task at this Core i7 and It will Process It for the next decade+.The look and feel of this Ultra Thin 4.9mm Bezel | 144Hz 7ms Display Is something to behold in person, pictures/videos don't do It justice, Now the 7ms Is kinda high, BUT It's not a deal breaker for high end FPS games. Some google searches on the matter and you will understand that 7ms Is fine.Battery Life Is pretty amazing when you factor In the tech running + are you really away from power that long? It's gonna be fine!________________________________________________________________________________________________Some things I don't like.Doesn't come with Windows 10 64bit cd key. Windows Is "mounted" on the motherboard. You can only System Restore, and as someone who only builds personal computers I was not a fan.Now understand me, Besides Norton anti virus there really Isn't "bloatware" on the machine, you can remove what you don't want and go on with enjoying this amazing machine. OR purchase your own copy of Windows 10 64 bit pro, plug in a dvd player/USB and make things work how you want them to work.First day with laptop every game worked but Rocket League, After researching the matter It turned out to be a Direct X Issues, I tried a system Restore and the same problem persisted, That's when I called MSI support and found out I couldn't format only restore. (MSI Support was very helpful) After putting my own copy of Windows 10 on the laptop I'm thrilled at how It's running. This might be a fluke. Maybe I did It for no reason, But I'm glad I did that and It's why this laptop is getting 4/5 stars. To save a few bucks to not give people a windows cd key/cd's/usb drive ect Is a let down. I remember buying a laptop 14 years ago and It came with a windows 7 sticker with my own code ect on the bottom. The sides "where the exhaust's are" get very hot on the top. "In-game temp Is 72C" "normal temps, normal for laptops to get hot in spots" Your hands should never touch the area with how the layout Is "maybe If you're playing a MMO and have key combos" Just something to keep In mind.I'm not a fan of the speakers, they crackle and have not been sounding good to me In games or If there Is a lag spike, But I have Nahimic and a Headset coming, I was never expecting to use the laptops speakers. Keep In mind as far as youtube audio or websites, the audio sounds great, The crackling I'm speaking happens In games only.So If you read all that..Wow, you really want to buy this bad boy, and I say do It, It's a long term Investment. This G565 Stealth Thin 8RF Is worth your time, money and love.
