Highly recommend these knives
I have the Outdoor Edge Razor Lite (non-pro) version but had wanted this "Pro" knife. When the price dropped I did the next best thing and bought it for my son to take hunting. Since the Razor Lite does't have the zipper blade I can't speak to that functionality but it appears it should work great. The zipper blade is not replaceable but it can be sharpened.I did get to use my Razor Lite on an Elk last fall. It cut like crazy! I have the Orange color to help keep from losing it when I set it down in the brush. My one recommendation with these knives is to clean them the first chance you get. I didn't clean mine until the following day and the blood and fat made it difficult to get the razor blade out. I used pliers to grab the blade to make sure I didn't cut myself. Make no mistake, these are sharp. I simply replaced my blade after that one trip rather than actually waiting until it got dull but there was definitely more life left in the blade. The replacement blades are pretty inexpensive.

Very well constructed knife
I personally hate the boredom of sharpening knifes. It seems like a never-ending job. I just want to use my knife and have it as sharp as possible. Well thanks to Outdoor Edge I have that ability. This knife is constructed very well and the blades are razor sharp. I believe that this knife is primarily for soft items. I would not assume that the knife blades would fair well with hard items like bone. That being said this is a solid well built knife that if cared for properly should last a long time. I can only hope that Outdoor Edge will continue to make blades. If something happens to that supply then the knife is debunked. But be assured that I will stock up on blades. Good job Outdoor Edge!

Very good product
I work at a private club where I used this knife to field dress approximately 40 whitetail this fall. I ordered an extra six blades, but only used 5 of the original blades that came with the knife. This a excellent knife that is very sharp. I could have stretched the use of each of the blades further. But I preferred to have a super sharp blade as often as possible. That is great feature of this product, in my opinion. The replacement blades are inexpensive enough to change frequently. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars; the knife is fairly hard to clean. Due to the dual blade design. Not everyone will dress dozens of deer in one season. Therefore, that may be a complete non-issue for most users. It's a great knife you won't be disappointed.

Sturdy and sharp
This is my second Outdoor Edge knife. The replaceable blades are really sharp and are very easy to replace. I typically get through one deer before the blade dulls, not super dull but still not like a new blade.( nothing like a super sharp blade) ) They say you can sharpen a used blade but I haven't had much luck with it. The knife cleans easily. I always prided myself on my nice sharp skinning knives but i found these to be much easier. Time to put the others in a case

Must have
So much better carrying this around than an entire skinning/gutting set. Light weight, compact and useful. Well worth the money!!!
