I like that it’s all the books in one

When I first bought this book it seemed like it was just a quick meaningless quick read. As it turned out it was far from it. After reading this book it opened up my mind more about God. Mandie encouraged me to talk more to God and be more open and not to think bad about others. Now, whenever I feel bad or am grateful I always pray about it. This book also taught me a lot about the past and how it varies from today's society. A thoughtful comment I want to mention is that the author always added hints and clues at the end of the chapter to draw you into reading more and I loved that. Over all great book, and the mysteries are a page turner worthy.

From the Mrs. - I LOVED these books growing up as a child. I started reading them in fourth grade, and I'm now 35. I only wish I could find the individual books, but I'm sure this helps keep the cost low. I can't wait to get the rest of the set. I missed a lot, but have enjoyed rereading Mandie's adventures.

Favorite stories I grew up reading as a child. Now my daughters are loving this set. The only thing I wish I could change, it is challenging to find each of the five now "out-of-print" books sold separately. The Mandie stories captured my attention from 3rd grade up through my high school years. My daughters began reading them when they were second grade and the continue to love them. Some of the writing is a bit cheesy in places, but these are "clean" stories and who doesn't love a mystery?

I read all of the Mandie books when I was growing up and they first came out. And I've re-read all of them several times. Even when I got "too old" for the books, I still bought and read each new one that was published. I loved Mandie and wished I could have had some (but not all) of the adventures she did. I still have my collection of all of the individual volumes. I bought this book for my niece for Christmas, and it's a great value to have 5 of the stories in one volume. Out of curiosity, I looked and found a price tag of $3.99 on one of my old books and that's from a good 20+ years ago, so you're definitely getting your money's worth.

Wonderful books! I read them as a young girl and had to reread them as an adult. They have Biblical principles of faith and trusting in God. I also love that they are abused in North Carolina, which is where I am from

Give fascinating stories for girls, full of adventure and fun but also about learning to trust God in every situation. I recommend them highly! (I'm 70, and I loved them!)
