Protect Your expensive pressure washer pump before storage
The first time I’ve used this. New Simpson pressure washer and after using just a few times wanted to put it in storage until spring. Simpson recommends this to protect that (expensive to replace/repair) pump. FYI…On the PW I have, it’s really a two person job to inject this fluid into the pump properly. I used about 1/2 the bottle. Will use the other half ahead of next storage.Only reason for 4, as opposed to 5 Star rating for “ease of use” is 2-person need at time of fluid injection.

Easy winterizing solution
Easiest solution to winterize your pressure washer. Bought current pressure washer after previous one had cracked water pump, probably from incomplete winterizing. Expensive lesson. Will use this every year. (only used 1/2 a bottle for mine)

Difficult to get into the pump
Very difficult to squeeze into the pump. You need 4 strong hands or two people, one to squeeze the bottle and one to turn the pump.

Reassuring protection for my pressure washer.
These pressure washer pumps can be very touchy if not treated right, so I make sure I take good care of my new Simpson machine with the recommended oil. A replacement pump can cost almost as much as the machine itself. This product is a great insurance policy for your machine lasting many, many years. Totally recommend.

Use Pump Guard Every Time before storing your pressure washer.
This is a good product that will protect the valves in your washer. I made the mistake of storing my pressure washer for the winter three months in a heated garage and nearly lost the pump by not using a lubricant. It doesn't have to freeze for the pump valves to stick and fail. Use of a good quality pump antifreeze lubricant will save the pump. I found this brand was difficult to use. I squeezed the bottle with both hands as hard as possible and it still took multiple tries to get the lubricant through, although it finally worked. Bottom line, there are many pump lubes out there, be sure to use one. I hope someone finds an easier method of forcing the lubricant through the pump.

It works
Have a K2.360 Karcher electric pressure washer.. Worked the first time no problems.. Yes the photo is not the same, ( no valve) but my washer is small and I rotated it so I could install bottle pointing up and screwed it in.. Put the washer in the basement sink on it's feet and squeezed the bottle and fluid did come out outlet.. Turned the washer on for just a few seconds and half the bottle was though the machine..Removed bottle the same way I installed and now have half a bottle for next time.. $10 dollars for two winterizes and next day delivery can't beat this deal..

WORKS UNDER PRESSURE!
Some people are having a problem with the fluid leaking out of the bottle while attaching to the washer. To be clear, I did not have this problem. But an easy fix is to buy one of the inline garden hose valves from Wall Mart or one the other lawn and garden people and screw it to the bottle giving you a valve to open / shut. Cost- under $5.

Couldn't get it to work.
Couldn't get it to work. Don't know if it was the product or my power washer. But followed the manufacture's winterizing instructions. Used the tip someone gave online and used a hose cut off valve to prevent leakage, but couldn't get the antifreeze into the pump.

Pretty much useless for my pressure washer
Would not squeeze into my Ryobi gas pressure washer as per instructions I was pulling the rope at the same time. Ended up with the cap coming off the bottle and it’s all on my shed floor. Waste of money.
