Iron Mountain Welded Tree Stand for Trees up to 14 ft.

I got this item because we have had a 10-12 foot Xmas tree for several years and I was uncomfortable with the medium duty tree stand we had been using for smaller trees in a previous house. This stand appears extremely sturdy, made from heavy steel. We got a 12 foot Alpine fir which is fairly slender (3.25 inch diameter trunk). It probably weighs less than 50 lbs. There are four heavy duty eye-bolts that screw into the trunk to support it. Each eye-bolt has about 3/4 inch diameter flange on the end (as opposed to a pointed end). It is a good system for supporting the tree in the stand. In my case the tree trunk was almost too small because the eye-bolts were almost completely screwed in before contacting the tree trunk and then the eye-bolts went into the trunk about 1/4 inch. This was probably due to the relative smallness of the tree trunk, not any design flaw. In any case this tree stand supports the 12 foot tree much better than my previous stand. I can't comment on the durability of the stand due to the short time I've used it but it seems like it will last many years.

I wish I had a photo. My husband “won” our tree this year and it was at least 9 ‘ y’all and heaven knows how many feet around. Because if it’s size he purchased a new stand at the same time from a local retailer that was supposed to support that size tree. After 2 days, the tree leaning against the wall, followed by anchors placed in my baseboard my husband ordered this one.Heavy sturdy and durable it held the tree easily. Because it is so well made I expect this tree staff to be in use long after we are gone.Another plus.. surprisingly easy to refill water.

It worked well for our 14 foot Christmas tree. The bolts for the legs came loose. Tighten those up really good before use

Had to upgrade for a bigger tree. 13’ tree in this large model. Verify sturdy. I could figure out how I was supposed to handle the 2 spikes on the bottom. No instructions. But it’s working.

Great stand for very large trees. Out tree was 14ft and the tree stand kept it in place for the entire time.

Really simple and easy and does the job well.

Bought this for the 12 ft grand fir because it was advertised to be able to hold a 15 foot tree. Immediately upon getting the tree in the stand, one of the legs snapped off the base and the tree fell over. We ended up deciding to keep the middle piece of the stand and had to have legs fabricated from a welder that would actually hold the tree up. This is NOT stable enough to support a large tree. If it weren't so late in the season, we would have returned it.
