Suzanne Kasler: Sophisticated Simplicity

This is my first purchase by this author and I am addicted! I am a fan of Jan Showers and I find Kasler embodies that same glamorous and sophisticated vibe in her interiors that just suits my own aesthetic so well. I found so much to enjoy and inspire. The photography is first class and the text is copious enough to explain the rationale behind the designs without being too onerous. I absolutely love this book and will be adding more from Kasler to my library very soon. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous interior design book - sits pride of place on my table

Beautiful book with fabulous ideas. Suzanne Kasler is a world class designer..I have an extensive design library, own all 3 of her books and there is a consistency to her projects...while some are more beautiful than others they all have a certain look that suits the space. You can study the photos and select a variety of ideas to improvise on. Highly recommend

I am a big fan of Suzanne Kasler. Her luxurious interiors are rich but understated. Her use of clean lines with traditional furnishings, often antiques, demonstrate her skill in mixing new an old. Her rooms are updated but have the warm patina that other designers often fail to include when creating interiors. The photos are beautiful and the quality of this book is excellent. If you are a fan, I highly recommend this book.

This book is such a delight. Beautiful photos. Isn't excessively wordy. Explains the inspirations. Im very happy with my purchase and even bought a second as a gift for a friend.

I have Suzanne Kasler’s previous two books and enjoyed her first better than the second. Typically I find white walls and interiors boring but they are beautiful and so well done in this book. The homes are beautifully edited examples and provide good inspiration for the more understated rooms in our home. I like the idea that just changing a few decorative pieces can change the impact of the room. Glad I purchased this book even though I couldn’t find any photos ahead of time

I have all of her previous books but wanted to pre-order this because the color palette and photos promised to be calming & not of projects we've previously seen. The book arrived beautifully wrapped and did not disappoint! The colors used throughout each design are muted calming tones of blue, gray, green, and white with full spread high-quality photo's showing every detail. I plan to use this in conjunction with some other similar designers books as inspiration for our remodel and am SO thrilled to have purchased it!
