The Rebel Mages

I bought Wandfasted, first but then realized, REbel Mages is both Wandfasted and Light mage together! I really enjoy The Black Witch series! This was a very cool two-part story, Wandfasted and Light Mage. Wandfasted is a far in the past prequal about Elloren's mother Tessla and how she met Elloren's father and the original Black Witch, before Mages ruled the continent. A very cool look into characters we have already met. The second novella, Light Mage is about Sage, Elloren's neighbor, and how she comes in contact with the Wand of Myth and how she may just be the key to help save Erthia.

Vale and Tessla’s flirting is hilarious. I giggled the entire time toward the second half of Wandfasted.Ra’ven and Sage’s romance is so innocent and sweet. You can’t help but fall in love with both of them.I need more of each!

I haven't been able to put down the whole series for a week! Well worth the read! A great series cant wait for the next book

Love this series!! I’ve read the series twice and will probably again before the third book comes out! I really enjoy it. I do think they’re a bit risqué at some points, enough to make an adult blush without actually being sexual (read it just to see the skill the author has with that!) haha but I really love the story, the romance, the strong female characters, the social commentary, the action, and the great world-building! I wish she could write so many more books!

I loved these glimpses into more of the world of The Black Witch! I absolutely fell in love with all of these characters & their strength to overcome society’s expectations & broken traditions.I want to know so much more about all of these characters, Tessla & Vale, Thane oh how I love Thane!Sage & the whole lot of rebels!

I LOVE this series and these 2 novellas did not disappoint.

This a wonderful story! Fantasy, danger, mystery, it's exciting! The characters really hold you in their world! Good vs Evil! Great read!

I never read the book blurbs when I’m purchasing a series so the story doesn’t get spoiled for me. I just purchase the book in order. I bought this book thinking it was the finale to the series because it isn’t marked better. It’s actually two prequel novellas. I listened to the whole first one and the second one started. That’s when I was like what is happening here and went back to read the product description. This needs to be marked as prequels in the title area so readers know what they’re buying. This book was also super expensive on audiobook. Way too expensive for prequel novellas. I don’t feel I can return it because I listened to part of it.If you’re a reader wanting to know if these are pertinent to the story, they’re not. It’s just extra stuff. I won’t be continue this series after this. I spent my money for the next real book on these. What a disappointment.

This is an amazing series. Even though it is rated for teens, , it is just fine for adults. I loved this series so uch I could not wait for the final book to come out in paperback & bought the hardcover, which I seldom do..

These are two cracking stories, providing background and character depth to the main Black Witch chronicles. Both excellent on their own, and even better together, they weave a convincing picture of a world of division, ignorance and lies and at the same time of hope, tolerance of the power of understanding and acceptance, which clearly resonates in the reality in which we currently live. The author tells a thrilling story that will keep you reading long after you should have turned off the light, excellent.

Great Novella. Really cleared up a few things about what happened before the black witch series starts. I loved Ellorens parents story, as well as Sage and Ra’ven. A great addition!

What a great book. I bought the whole series, and had a hard time putting it down. Story was very well written, i enjoyed it very much.

I read all the books so quickly I couldn’t put them down! Can’t wait for demon tide to come out later this year!!
