MOR/ryde SRE2735X Suspension System

Seems to be a heavy duty unit. Much beefier than the equalizer I replaced it with. Fairly easy to install. Raised the 5th wheel @ 1.25". Seems to be smoother going down the road.

Replaced EZ Flex from Dexter. The top bolt on the EZ Flex was seized into the bushing so would not fit through the hanger hole. Had to use a sawzall to cut it out. There is a reason the dealer wanted $725 and my shade tree rv guy wanted $500 to install. Add a little rust and the project can be time consuming. Tried the first side with just one side of the trailer off the ground. Had to muscle the axles around with a strap. Second side (Sunday now) we got the trailer completely off the ground. Much easier and of course we now knew how to attack the seized bushing. Second side complete in about 2 hours. Raised the trailer 1.75 inches which for my application was a plus and part of the goal. No more creaking noises, trailer rides noticable smoother. I added the morryde heavy duty shackle kit at the same time. This is a must as the nylon factory bushings were shot and we were running metal on metal in a 2015 trailer. Highly recommended getting on the moryde website and looking at the tech measurements sheet or contacting their after market sales team prior to ordering. Ryan answered all my questions in one email. They are up front that this will not work on all rigs. Some have clearance issues, so check with them and do the measurements first.2015 Coachman Chapparell 360IBL

After installing the suspension kit along with the shackle upgrade kit I could not actually believe the difference it made in towing. It is installed on a 2015 Keystone Outback. There is no more "creaking" sounds when turning. When I drive across several of our local railroad crossings or big bumps there is absolutely ZERO feeling from the trailer. Before installing the kit I could feel the trailer bounce over every bump in the road. I know the old saying of "I don't even know that my trailer is back there" is often over-used but it actually applies to this suspension system. You no longer feel any of the road input through the trailer. Installation was a one-person job by myself and took about 4 hours. Having access to multiple (at least 3) jacks is very, very helpful to manipulate the axles and leaf springs. My only regret is not installing it sooner.I forgot to add this before I submitted the review. The kit is advertised as coming with one X factor crossmember and I have never received the crossmember. I sent an inquiry via amazon shortly after installation with my concern and have still not received the crossmember.

I installed this product with the "wet hardware" in Oct. 2017 and have driven 8000-10000 miles. Noticing my RV sitting skewed on a concrete base, I inspected the suspension and discovered that both equalizers had failed. The rubber bonding had let go. The equalizer supports the inside attachment points for the suspension springs. I would give Morryde five stars for product support as they are shipping replacements at no charge. Five stars for the wet bolts that eliminated squeaking. Changing them out isn't that difficult for a handyman, but it raises concerns about Morryde quality control since this review is one of the few negatives ones I've seen.

Very well made units and it's a MUST to also buy their wet bolt upgrade kit while doing this upgrade. The install took me 4 hours in my backyard. I was alone and the biggest time sink was simply setting everything up to start the work. The actual install took about 90 minutes including the wet bolt kit and cross-member. Driving impressions: It does absorb bumps FAR better than before and I feel the effect of road issues far less in my truck with these installed. All you can really do is watch it in the mirrors. It's not like you get to ride in the RV while driving so unless you put someone in the RV before and after, getting a real assessment is hard to do.

Removed a set a Dexter EZ Flex equalizers and replaced with these. Between these equalizers and my Anderson ultimate hitch my camper pulls just as smooth as can be and everything is staying put inside the camper while traveling. I thought the included crewmember was a great idea and I'm thinking of putting those crewmembers on my front and rear spring hangers as well. Anyways, installation is pretty simple and the end result was worth the cash.Update, 21Apr2018. Just finished a 900+ mile trip with these on the camper. Couldn't be happier! It's not very often I feel like I got my monies worth but this suspension is great. It's odd to look in my mirror while towing, seeing the camper moving around a little and not feeling the movement in the truck.

I do like these, relatively easy to install. They do raise the trailer an inch, that was good in my case as the front rode a it high while towing.I will also say the trailer was more stable, less sway on rougher roads. As for a smother ride we did not notice much of a difference.

Installed in summer of 2021 on fifth wheel. Only camped 3 months out of the year with light travelling. I was surprised to find my unit failing only 2 years after install after seeing someone post similar failure of their unit on an RV forum. MORryde has discontinued this product, I would suggest looking at an alternate model.
