I got alot of cannker sores. Top ones are fine. It was a little hard playing around with these. The designated sheild for the bottom didnt fit right so i utilized the top. Fits pretty good. Im even missing two brackets at the moment but its not bad! Oh of course I sterilized the bumper prior to use. I hope you did too! Review: Don't Waste Your Money - I was hoping for an easier way to relieve the irritation from my new braces on my bottom lip. I only have partial braces on the bottom front 8 teeth. I have a slight under bite, so my teeth not only need to be moved back into place, but are also slightly turned. With that said, the clip-on comfort shield does NOT clip on. The two front teeth do not allow a space for the clip to fit because the brackets are almost touching. Also because my teeth are not spaced correctly and stick out, the clips being spaced evenly don't fit on but a few spaces. So if you don't have evenly spaced braces, this is not the product for you. Also there are no instructions, so you don't know which clip-on strip is for the top and which is for the bottom. The smaller one would not clip on my bottom braces at all due to the spacing, so I had to use the larger one and it barely clips to the wire. I would recommend just using wax unless you have even spaced braces.

Great lip protection
Your teeth do have to be a certain level of straight for this to fit the wires. My daughter has had braces for a little over a year so this worked well for hers. It does make the lips poke out, but she wore these for cheer while stunting to keep the braces from tearing the inside of her mouth up. They are also great if you play a wind instrument to keep the braces from digging into your mouth. My daughter also likes to sleep with this in her mouth as an extra layer of protection.

It's worth trying out
They are a lot more comfortable to wear and easier to use then trying to use wax. However, because my teeth are spaced right (the reason for having braces) it doesn't fit on my teeth and comes off too easily. I think it's worth trying to see if it helps for you though.

too short but mostly works
doesn't cover my back two teeth. only the top one fits as the teeth are too crowded in on bottom at this point, but the top alone reduces nearly all pain in mouth. wish it were long enough to cover all teeth. very easy to snap on and off, but that's probably because my top teeth are fairly evenly spaced. works great if it fits you but we all have unique mouths

Not made with too much thought.
You can only place these on properly if your teeth are pretty much already straightened. Because they are made with pre spaces this does not let you apply them correctly if you have spaces and or teeth out of line. I only have a few very small spaces and I still can't use them. They puff your mouth up , look and feels like you have a mouth guard in. I ended up ordering bracees bracket covers. My braces are new and ripping sores in my mouth so I need something that actually works unlike the wax is supposed to.

ABSOLYTELY WORTH IT.
I get canker sores EXTREMELY OFTEN and for some dumb reason thought getting braces as an adult would be worth it... anywho, THESE BRACKET COVERS ARE A LIFESAVER. I’m actually mad I didn’t buy them months ago and that my orthodontist doesn’t provide them instead of the useless wax. There is a top and a bottom, the top has the clips more spread out and they snap onto the wire. They stay on easily I just wouldn’t eat with them like someone else suggested

Waste of money. Not eligible for return.
I ordered these as I kept getting canker sores and wanted something to wear at night time to prevent further irritation. First, I could not even put it on much less get it to stay on. Second, as others have mentioned it is short and does not reach the very side brackets which in my case rubbed my gums the most. This product is not eligible for return. Do not waste your money.
