DO I LOVE IT? - POSITIVELY - ABSOLUTELY
This CD dates from 1991, runs to 18 tracks, and looks and sounds somewhat dated. By which I mean the restoration, given that the original recordings date from the 3-year period 1925 to 1927. Nevertheless, it deserves serious consideration, because it contains the complete output by the Seattle Harmony Kings and Phil Romano (four and two recordings respectively). Add to that "Tiger Rag" by Charles Dornberger, and "Sugar Babe, I'm Leavin'" and the rest is icing on the cake. On the other hand, you may prefer the Timeless CD "Up and at 'Em" : Hot Dance Bands 1925-1927 which also contains all four Seattle Harmony Kings sides, and the title track, and runs to 25 sides.
