Well worth the price!
This was an extremely challenging yet rewarding set. And well worth the price given it’s over 3,600 pieces! The pieces are TINY and very hard to work with, which was part of the challenge. The instructions were somewhat hard to follow, yet fair. You just really have to pay close attention to the details. End result looks awesome! My only complaint is, we ran out of certain types of pieces and had to switch to another color to finish it. Fortunately, they packed an extra 200 or so pieces with the set, so we had other colors to use. I agree with another reviewer, this is not for young kids, my 16 year old gave up early but I was more than happy to finish it out!

Great model, beware of Amazon used product
A great model. It is complex but stays together real well. There were parts missing in the first one I ordered. I then got a replacement that was worse than the first on. The parts were in baggies so you couldn't tell if the parts were all there. Plus the parts were covered in dog hair! Lousy job by Amazon on checking quality of returned items.Using parts from both kits I had enough to complete the ship. as a product I would give this a definite 5. I marked it down because of Amazon sending out crappy second hand product.

Awesome design, less than quality directions
Although this is the coolest pirate ship I have found in a long time, the directions are not the best. I much prefer the greater color detail that the Lego brand directions have. The tiny nano pieces and poor quality directions have made me hold off on giving this set to my Grandson for a couple of years. He is currently 13 and can whip out the Lego 14-adult sets in nothing flat, but he did struggle with another brand of nano building blocks set that had comparable direction quality to this set. I would put the age level at 16+ for all the reasons said above. It really is an awesome building set, just expect to use a lot of time and patience for those directions.
