It looks GOOD and it does exactly what I want, at a good price. What more can you ask?
OK, these are preliminary results, as I've had the watch for about a week now.I *LIKE* it.The design is clean, modern, and understated. I like a CLEAN gauge face, no gratuitous artwork, no clutter, and this one delivers. The size is just right for my wrist. I went to some trouble on size selection: the left cuffs on my dress shirts were all cut to match the Timex Ironman Triathlon and Triathlon Shock that this watch replaced, and so the size envelope had to match. I saw a few that looked good that were clearly too big for me. (I also saw some huge watches, from other companies, that had the most horrible design I've ever seen anywhere. What WERE those people smoking?)As others have commented, the band was initially stiff, but it has settled in and now fits my wrist almost perfectly. I figured I could always replace the band if it came to that, but I don't think that is going to be necessary. This is a quartz movement. It SHOULD keep time nearly perfectly, and it appears to be doing just that. Ask me again in a year or so, after I've reset it a few times because of travel and time zones. (A wristwatch that I have to reset by hand is part of my jet lag prevention system. I've tied resetting my body clock to resetting my watch. It works.)I hadn't realized how much I missed the conventional clock face, with hands, or how much easier it is to "feel" the time with a conventional clock face as opposed to a digital-only display, until I started wearing one again. I glance at the watch and I know instantly what time it is and how much margin I have.I've shown it to friends and everyone has liked it.

DISTINCTIVE AND DRAMATIC CHRONOGRAPH, STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
This is a beautiful and distinctive watch with its deep dish recessed dial and sharp yellow accents, and at the $94 a solid candidate for my Best Buys Ever pantheon.Seiko build quality is always first-rate: materials quality, fit/finish detailing, aesthetics, performance, reliability, longevity. And not just "for the money". First-rate across the board, period. The size for me is excellent; I have a 6.5" wrist and was worried about this watch's listed 41mm case size. But the watch looks great: a definite, even dramatic presence without overwhelming my wrist unlike larger watches I have owned larger watches up to 45mm under which my wrist all but vanishes making the watch look like some kind of metallic connective tissue between wrist and lower forearm. The pusher at 2 o'clock that stops and starts the chrono sweep second hand is soooooo smooth. No sound, not even a click. The yellow accents in the form of the sweep second hand and hands on the subdials and dots at each numeral nicely complement the otherwise black and white dial. The strap is okay, not the best for sure, but not bad either. It's a croc grain leather with complementary yellow stitching. It's stiff, but I sat there for about 15 minutes while watch TV and rolled it up and squeezed it and waggled it back and forth, back and forth and it is now noticeably more supple.I had long lusted after the Tissot T-Sport PR200 which has a similar black-and-yellow aesthetic, but it's around $400, so for barely 1/4 of that I got a watch with the same essential look supplemented by Seiko quality.

Great watch, very much worth what you pay.
This is a very nice watch. I actually feel it is one of those watches that gets better the more you look at it and take it in. As some have stated before, the face looks like a stadium as it is a very deep center area of the face. You will know what I mean from looking at photos or having it in person. The angles and the buttons just grab you. I also really love the yellow stitching on the band. It goes perfect with the yellow hands of the chronograph feature. I truly feel this is a watch that can be worn in most occasions but really holds its own and looks like a higher end watch.Update 04/11/2016: Just updating a few things on my review. The accuracy is incredible. Not all quartz movements are super accurate and you may find yourself a few seconds off after a few months and needing to change the time. Today I pulled this watch out and compared it to an accurate time source online and it was exactly the same down to the second. I last changed the time when I bought it in November! Also would like to add I love the fact this watch displays the hour and minute markings. For some watches this doesnt work for style reasons and I get that, but it works great for this watch and provides easy time telling at a quick glance with little brain processing if the hour hand is near or on the next hour but is not.
