Range KleenDP1CP Copper Hooded Dust Pan

BAD BAD BAD
Biggest POS I’ve ever bought. Didn’t know it was possible to mess up a dust pan ... but behold. The flimsiest, Wobbliest, most crooked dustpan on the market. It doesn’t catch any — I repeat — ANY dirt or dust of any kind. Not even pine needles. DO NOT BUY!!! You’re better off using a piece of paper as a dustpan (that is what I do instead of using this thing.)

This is not your mother's copper dustpan!
It has an edge that appears to be made of rippled plastic Does not hold an edge at all - the dirt sweeps right under portions of it. Have bought and used perhaps 3 of these types of dustpan over 60 years and, after freezing temps on the porch, my last old one needed to be replaced. Ordered this, thinking it was the same kind of product. Does anyone know where I can get the "real thing" now?

Completely useless
I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews, but I just wanted a metal dustpan with the hood on it so dust and dog hair don't blow out of it while you carry it to the trash, and after investigating online it seems nobody make such a rational and reasonable tool anywhere in the world anymore except RangeKleen, with the terrible reviews. Okay, so they say it's flimsy, I thought, I can handle that, I'm not using it outdoors. But it's worse than that:the little plastic lip that goes next to the floor is warped and misshapen, and when you try to sweep dirt into the dustpan it all goes right underneath it, not into it!!! I would get my money back, but in coronavirus times I am not going into the post office to mail this stupid trinket, as I am at high risk. That's one of the reasons I'm buying stuff like this on Amazon in the first place!!!

Not worth purchasing
It is light weight, but I dare say the material is super thin and could easy bend. The flexible lip on it won’t lay smoothly, so dirt sill slides up under it. I’m quite disappointed with this dustpan.

BEST DUST PAN EVER, sturdy, with rubber lip an
This dust pan is not only sturdy but has a a rubber lip that gets so close to the floor that it allows you to get dirt, kitty litter, crumbs& even broken glass completely in the pan. This is far exceeds the plastic or even the big bulky ones. It's attractive & just the right size for home use. It was so securely packaged that there was no way it could be damaged in transit. The seller is awsome, sending a message right away & keeping you up to date.

DO NOT WASTER YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Very poorly constructed of the cheaped grade made metal available. These are basically 'tuck and crimp seams holding this together. Unit Arrived heavily damaged from transport with dirty plastic edge lip and a totally crushed top hood. The one connecting grommet in the handle had started to come loose. Fuller brush salesmen everywhere are rolling over in their graves.

Not your mother's copper dustpan
It arrived bent. The copper-colored finish is dull, not bright. The rim is plastic; not rubber and the corner is turned up.. It is extremely light weight. Though not pricey, the cost is high for its worth. I wanted something prettier for my kitchen, but this is so flimsy, I should have settled for a black steel dustpan.

Looks great but pretty useless
This dustpan look great, and seems like pretty good quality overall, however, to actually get dust and debris into it you have to sweep about 40 times over the lip. Particles and debris just get stuck on the white lip that's meant to sit flush with the ground but doesn't. Makes it pretty useless for the job it's meant to do.

I really like this dustpan
I really like this dustpan. My only complaint is that when it arrived the plastic edge was quite wavy and had to be straightened out. with a hair dryer.

Good product, fake delivery
Dust pan is fine. However, there was no delivery. Dynamex failed to notify the recepient and simply left the box in the building's lobby. Recepient accidentally found the parcel there much later. Outrageous.

Just Like Mom's
I bought this dustpan because it is metal (not plastic) and has a dust "hood" to prevent over-sweeping. The dustpan succeeds in both cases. My disappointment is that the rubber strip on the bottom is not flexible enough. It does not gather up all the dust but allows some to slide beneath the pan. I have to "sweep up" and then repeat again and again to get the finer dust.
