Nathan Direct Cayman 7 Drawer Lockable Jewelry Armoire with 2 Side Compartments and a Lift-Top Compartment with Mirror and Ring Holders, Antique Brown

I looked for a long time for the right armoire based on function and price. I love this armoire; it is well-designed and very solid, and it was simple to put together and arrived in perfect condition.

The piece is lovely to look at, from a distance. The wood used is very nice. But the workmanship is not very good, areas along the bottom rim are rough, not finished to a smooth surface, and certain joints don't line up correctly, and raw wood shows. The drawers don't pull out far enough so that you can see the sections of the drawer toward the back of each jewelry compartment. It came damaged, the rim of the bottom of the armoire on one side was a bit crushed. One leg on that side was off totally. The screws that are used to hold the legs into the armoire do not go into the armoire more than an 1/8th of an inch, so not long enough screws were used to hold on the legs. Another leg was cracked, and a third leg was hanging off. It seemed to be packed very well, but yet this damage occurred. If it wasn't so much trouble to repack and ship (it weighs over 75 lbs.), we would have shipped it back. My husband is handy and will fix the legs, and the piece is being used in a small hallway where it won't be seen very much, so I will keep it. But I was very disappointed.

It came packed well, no damage at all, my husband and I attached the mirror, super easy, five screws. I thought the inside smelled weird, and some drawers had white on the black lining,(maybe the resin packs, that were inside?), so I wiped them out, with small amount of dawn and bleach, it still smelled, so I gently sprayed with Lysol, and then I left everything open so it could dry and air out, and that seems to have worked. So I love it, it really looks beautiful and holds my jewelry, and some of my smaller purses, and I love that it locks. I am very happy with it, I would have given 5 stars, if it had smelled better, and didn't have white marks, but all in all its been a great purchase!

I just received this jewelry armoire and I LOVE IT!!! If you are hesitating with this purchase, don't. You will be very happy. I researched jewelry armoires for a week before I decided on this one, and I am so happy I did. The only assembly is putting the top on with the six screws that come with item. I was very concerned that it would arrive damaged, but when I got it and saw how well it was packaged, I was so happy. Not a nick or scratch on it! It comes with six drawers (looks like seven, but, of course, the top one is fake as you have the lift up top). There are ring rolls in half of the top compartment, with the rest open for bangles, etc. The first three drawers are sectioned and the last three drawers are not, great for scarves, wraps, etc. I spent all of last night going through all my jewelry and putting it away in my new armoire, now I know what I have and can see everything. I highly recommend this product!

Set up was easy. Wood matches my other bedroom furniture and holds jewelry nicely. Wish it had section with multiple small compartments to hold earrings. I added that to several drawers. But haven't found them in black to match interiors of the drawers.

I love the jewelry armoire, But the legs on it broke when it arrived. We had to repair all of the legs as they were put on so badly. We have now reinforced them and it should be fine, but for the price it certainly could have been made better.

Very beautiful armoire. Love the lockable feature (most armoires only lock top drawer or just the lid).Only reason for 4-stars is because it came damaged (two of the door hinges were loose), and it didn't come with directions on how to reinstall them. I had to reverse engineer the hinge mechanism to figure it out, but it wasn't immediately obvious, and customer service wasn't helpful.But I will say this, after those couple days of struggle, we now have a beautiful piece of furniture that complements our antique bedroom set nicely.

Well made and beautiful. Was a little weary after the reviews but it was all good! Heavy!
