EllusionistFathom Playing Card Deck - Water Ocean Themed - for Games and Magic Tricks

I was looking for a deck of cards, and soon realized that there are a great many interesting designs available. When I came across a deck that matched my desire for cards with my fascination toward cephalopods, I knew I found a winner.While I am by no means an expert in card quality, they appear to be well made and durable. The back of each card has a design similar to the box design (first couple of product images). An octopus takes the place of the joker, and the ace of spades is the usual spade design inset with mermaids. The face cards are, I think, similar to the standard design but presented as reflections on water drops, as demonstrated in the last product image. The rest of the cards have more minor changes and details to them.Overall I am satisfied by the look and feel of the deck, and would recommend it to those who find an interest in cephalopods and cards intersecting at any point in time.

Fantastic cards, beautiful and handle very well. They aren't plastic, if you're looking for home game cards for that. However they are vastly superior to Bicycle cards insofar as they are easier to shuffle and deal with & add a touch of class.If you're looking at these reviews trying to gauge their quality you probably already know they are from Chris Ramsey and you're going to buy them anyways. Just do it. Get the Momento deck to go with them!

These cards are gorgeous. The back design looks great in the pictures and they're even better in person.The faces of the cards are also really cool looking. One pip on every numbered card looks like it's made of bubbles, and the face cards give the same feel.My only gripe is that the jokers can be a little hard to read on first glance because there's only one visible J. That's a very minor problem and I still love this deck.I look forward to doing magic with these.

These cards are quite striking and a good balance when you want cards that are playable, but have a little something out of the ordinary. There is a very slight pale green tinge to the coloring of these cards, so there is slightly less contrast between the red cards and the black cards then normal, but this helps add to the underwater bubbly feel of the design. The aces are fairly standard looking, but cards 2-10 each have one suit emblem broken up into bubbles, which looks super cool, but still is readable as the suit. The face cards all have a bubble effect which makes them the least readable, but because they are face cards, you never really mistake the suits much. Overall, I mark the Fathom Deck a 4 out of 5 only because I am not crazy about the font they chose for the denomination in the corners of the cards. It's a little much and makes the cards a little harder to read than necessary (but they are still quite playable). Still, an easier to read font would have made these cards 5/5. Looking forward to trying these out at some card parties this weekend.

I'm always so pleased with the Ellusionist decks I order for my boyfriend. He's a collector so it's my go-to present for him on special occasions. This deck functions flawlessly, like all the others I've ordered. It shuffles well, is super easy to deal, and performs tricks with great ease to the user. We're also super happy with the design. You can tell a great attention to detail went into making this deck. Not only are there fun things to look at on the face cards, but the numbered cards had some fun details too. I wasn't expecting to like this deck so much, and may even steal it back from my boyfriend.

I almost didn't buy these because of negative comments about the bubble theme, particularly on the facecards. I'm glad I got them, though, because the bubbles don't seem overly noticeable, and I really love the design and colors. These are just as slick as my Talons, and I like the way they handle right out of the box. This deck includes one double-backed card and two jokers with the image of an octopus.

My 16 year old son loves these. They are super slick and he.can do his fan out with them. They have a trick card that allows him to do some fun things that he couldn’t do with a regular deck. They work so much better than a regular deck for tricks.

These are incredible, I have been using them for a little and they still feel brand new. They are very smooth, especially good for flourishes and fans. I really recommend this to anyone, definitely worth it!

Sie sind mit einer speziellem Finish so gemacht, dass sie sehr gut für Cardistry bzw. Kartentricks zu gebrauchen sind. Natürlich sind sie auch für normale Kartenspiele zu gebrauchen.Das Gesamtergebnis: (5/5)Alles in allem bin ich sehr positiv Überrascht von den Karten und auch sehr angetan. Nach einer Woche üben mit den Karten sind keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren zu erkennen und ich würde sie mir jederzeit wieder kaufen.
